That is not cheating by any stretch and it is a legitimate strategy, and probably a very good one. A very boring one, from what it sounds like, but a good one.

I will ignore the semantic quibble, but I will ask you what makes it illegitimate? In what way is it not legitimate?

That's not quibble. There's a key difference. It's legitimate in that it has efficacy but it's illegitimate in that it's unoriginal and requires no forethought. So it would depend on how you define 'legitimate' which is in fact, semantics.

Well then it's also an illegitimate tactic to run around as a group in head to head, 3v3 combat, because that is also unoriginal. What would be a legitimate tactic then in inferno skirmish?

Anything that requires forethought. Run a decoy that way while we double flank; all three charge B then retreat and sweep left for a surprise barrage; two people take out their sniper while 3rd runs down the aisle with cover fire, you get the picture. 'Camp after getting kills' just doesn't fit in there does it?
