dislocated thumb , a mental breakdown with signs of severe depression and a burnout of the entire destiny PvP...
It was one of the most depressive experience in destiny ,and I will NEVER EVER play rumble again even if they will give me Fate of all Fools..I've played around 250-300 games with about 100 games loosing by a single kill or less than a kill which makes so mad I wanna punch the guy behind this grimoire card..
Anyways I'm done crying I had to make the post to be relieved a little bit..so tell me about yourself, did you or did you not finish the 100 wins yet? if so how did it went? hopefully faster and less frustrating than me...
Edit : Wow,I never expected that many replies and so many guys stuck with this grimoire card,Good luck to you all!
Edit 2 : My setup was Warlock Sunsinger with selfrez firebolt nades, thorn or hawkmoon, and Judgement VI as secondary,I suck in TLW so I dont use it in rumble, but its definitely one of the best killing machines if you know how to handle it..forgot the mention max armor with the ram..
Edit 3: For all of you asking how long it took me,I started the serious grinding in less than a week, some days I grind so hard I get 20 wins/day and some days Im too tired and give up with 5-7 wins, but each day I've invested at least 6 hrs only in rumble, total play time for my rumble was around 28 hrs to get that 100 wins..don't do my mistake, take it easy with a daily objective of 5 wins or so ,you'll still have your sanity in the end of the 100 wins wild ride :) .

Edited by Vindex: 8/29/2015 12:43:39 AMThe only people that ever beat me during my rumble grimoire hunt used blink shotty. Around 75 wins, I started using blink shotty for the first time and geez....it's fkn stupid how cheap it is. I ran through those last wins pretty easily. Oh BTW, I loved the games I lost but had the most kills. Makes sense that people get more points for easy, automatic kills with heavy and supers. /facepalm. Bungie are idiots for creating that point system.

Edited by Urban Shade: 8/29/2015 12:35:11 AMI finished it without even aiming to finish it. Used to love the game type
-
If I continue with this winning percentage I'll be in the same boat as you. I hate playing alone. I've always been a Dom/TDM guy.
-
Edited by Eshé: 8/29/2015 12:46:22 AM
Sunsinger Warlock
there's your problem I've probably only lost 40 Rumble matches in my life out of like 700 games
-
Lol it was so easy
-
I would never subject myself to so much anguish over such a meaningless and arbitrary number that has zero bearing on or improving my life in any way. It's a waste of time.
-
That's exactly why I haven't grinded it out yet. I still have to get Sidearm kills, Hydras, and my Rumble wins. I'll get there when I get there. Grinding that stuff out sounds super boring and mind numbing, and I am not bout that life.
-
Hoy many grimoire points do you get from that
-
Rumble still sucks because half the time (at least for me) you get thrown into a game that's already started being down by 400-1500 points, Gee Gee
-
inb4 they increase the grimoire requirement in ttk
-
That's really motivating. I'm looking forward to my Next 99 wins to complete the grimoire Card.
-
I just go full on try hard and use blink shotgun and thorn. Gets the job done and pisses people off, so it's a win-win for a dick like me.
-
Edited by Phoenix King: 8/29/2015 12:26:00 AMI still need to do rumble for grimore (hell no). What I don't like about rumble is that sometimes I go around the whole map looking for people to kill, while the person who is in 1st kills everybody.
-
I play Rumble occasionally, but don't really enjoy it because of the lack of primary use. It usually turns into me chasing down people due to them purposfully attempting to avoid me since I'm winning by a lot. It really pisses me off when I have to charge after someone just to get shottied around the corner, with a Tbag as if they did something.

I didn't actually find this as difficult as the salvage wins. Think my rumble win % is something like 25 but I've no idea how long I spent getting smashed when I first got the game. I found that towards the end I'd win maybe one every three games, and every now and then I'd go on a streak maybe winning like 10 games in a row. When I actually sat down to do it it wasn't so bad. I used a gunslinger with TLW, felwinters and BTRD. Find that golden gun is your best bet for getting mutliple super kills cos people don't cluster together like they do in team games, and if you make sure you pick up the heavy having a good LMG can totally swing a match in your favour.

Just recently started going for it on my warlock. The amount of slide/blink shotgunning is ridiculous
-
I hit rank one I kinda suck at pvp but I finely got my warlock to a 1.0 after being so so so vary bad at launch I also don't use thorn or tlw so at odds are against me before we start
-
I play rumble for fun. Didn't even have to try to get the grimoire. Actually got all the grimoire score for rumble before I even started hunting grimoire score
-
i find rumble easy
-
-blam!- that shit!!!! aint play that shit mode.... depression guaranteed and makes me go into anger management
-
I'm at 50 wins and I'm having a heck of a time getting motivated to finish it. I love pvp, but I hate rumble.
-
THE most daunting grimoire, i dont envy you, i play fuk all rumble. Only got 8 wins
-
Congrats, not an easy feat. I gave up on that grimoire part on rumble and certain pvp grimoire in favor of playing for fun. Then i am unable to win a single round in ToO, let alone complete the thorn or invective bounty since receiving them months ago. i am terrible at pvp... Thoroughly enjoy PvE side.
-
Nice work. I'm currently grinding this. Sitting on 24. I feel your pain. I'm sure I'll be much the same by the time I get there. It's likely to give me PTSD
-
Bruh I do not have a single rumble win and probably never will
-
I have the same look at it as you do. I'm so glad it's over. I'll never set foot in rumble again. Ever.
