dislocated thumb , a mental breakdown with signs of severe depression and a burnout of the entire destiny PvP...
It was one of the most depressive experience in destiny ,and I will NEVER EVER play rumble again even if they will give me Fate of all Fools..I've played around 250-300 games with about 100 games loosing by a single kill or less than a kill which makes so mad I wanna punch the guy behind this grimoire card..
Anyways I'm done crying I had to make the post to be relieved a little bit..so tell me about yourself, did you or did you not finish the 100 wins yet? if so how did it went? hopefully faster and less frustrating than me...
Edit : Wow,I never expected that many replies and so many guys stuck with this grimoire card,Good luck to you all!
Edit 2 : My setup was Warlock Sunsinger with selfrez firebolt nades, thorn or hawkmoon, and Judgement VI as secondary,I suck in TLW so I dont use it in rumble, but its definitely one of the best killing machines if you know how to handle it..forgot the mention max armor with the ram..
Edit 3: For all of you asking how long it took me,I started the serious grinding in less than a week, some days I grind so hard I get 20 wins/day and some days Im too tired and give up with 5-7 wins, but each day I've invested at least 6 hrs only in rumble, total play time for my rumble was around 28 hrs to get that 100 wins..don't do my mistake, take it easy with a daily objective of 5 wins or so ,you'll still have your sanity in the end of the 100 wins wild ride :) .

I've never had a huge problem with winning in crucible ( probably got that hundred done in October/November) but i have a knack for FPS and it's basically halo styled so it's relatable to something. It's much easier to win in clash or if you have a three man team for skirmish but GG for that many rumble wins (I'm at like 50-60 last I saw in game)
-
I want to know why a 6 man team can't go into a rumble match, that would bring me back to the Doom death match days over a lan connection lol Shit would be fun to smoke your friends while you're all in teamspeak. Was really bummed out when I first tried to take all 6 of us in and it only allows 3. Super lamesauce!
-
Rumble is a pain in the ass. I've won maybe 10-11 rumble matches. I've only won rumble in a fireteam. Not that we're boosting, but I play better with others. Weird because in call of duty, ima much better solo player than team player.
-
most games 'top 2' or 'top 3' count as a 'win' in a FFA game mode.
-
Real talk I have played Rumble maybe twice and I will never go back.
-
2 words: Tuck Fhat
-
Use to hate rumble a lot, i only do it because of the grimoire. Now i have about 400+ wins lol
-
I got my 100 rumble wins fairly early on I have to say, not because I was chasing grimoire at the time, just because it was less laggy than playing clash or control. Less players = less lag in my book... So early in fact that I probably owe monte carlo a huge debt of gratitude for getting me there.. You know when auto rifles were actually good?..Salvage on the other hand was a pain in the ass..
-
You would have to pay me to play Rumble. All the maps are too small, which usually ends up making it a CQC shotgun-fest.
-
Damm son, youre a glutton for punishment, I'd never put myself thru that.
-
Reason why I don't want to try :( tried one night got 1 win in 10 games, in second most games. Why doesn't second count dammit!
-
I only play rumble when I'm trying to get used to a new gun. That's where you get those fast twitch skills going
-
Achieved with my warlock (void walker) and the timepiece :)
-
So you saw quite a bit of shotgun users I take it?
-
Kind of like this Iron Banner. I'll be so glad for the new leveling changes and gear drops since you won't have to get EL anymore to raise things up. This most recent Iron Banner has made me never want to touch PVP again. It has become such an unbalanced frustrating mess.
-
Took me maybe 115-120 games to complete. It was my motivation to actually make a hunter. Golden gunned my way to victory the majority of the time, and I'd say I'm only slightly above average at pvp.
-
I have 8 wins I think. It's so frustrating and obnoxious. Rumble needs to take points away for deaths. People can win with a 1.0 kd while you may be 2 kills from winning but with a 1.6 kd.
-
They are removing grimore from emblems so whats the point.
-
Just play it casually not try...

This is why I don't go for max grim. I've collected all the ghosts apart from a ton on mars, and any weapon grim apart from a few, but I'll never ever go grinding ogre/hydra kills etc. It's just waay too tedious. 100 Rumble wins will come naturally over time but still. Congrats though.
-
I did mine in a week. Did about 8 a day since I already had some wins. At first it was hard. I only won like 2 out of the 8 but I wouldn't stop that day till I finished my 8. The next day it got easer and would win them faster. On the 3rd day I won them without losing 1. From there on out same thing kept happening till I finished them. Some match ups were really hard as I would get groups who try and boost or just not kill each other and aid in kills. But I would still win. I would be what you gaurdians call a "try hard" lol
-
I have a few rumble wins under my belt. I'm inching close to 500.
-
Ah yes...I still have to do this...
-
I only ever won 1 I'm not looking to go back in it again
-
rumble to me is easy. i think it was one of the first grimoire i got for crucible. lots of people when i did would just run and gun. i would camp a spot for a few min and watch 3-4 go buy and get my kills. but that was back when destiny came out and crucible wasnt as competitive as it is now. still a few baddies now adays tho :P. PS. miss you old Mythoclast. RIP
