Everyone seems to be missing the fact that the Nightfalls will now be at max. guardian level (40). Since you aren't over-leveled, g'horn won't be moving forward, the 30 sec. revive timer (instead of instant) will put more pressure on the other guardians, etc. it won't necessarily be easier. Dying at Skolas doesn't return you to orbit either, but that didn't keep a lot of people from not being able to do it at all. It might be more difficult after all.

    Being over levelled for an activity doesn't make it easier. In a level 28 nightfall, a level 32 will deal and receive as much damage as a level 28 character. It's when you're below the level of an enemy that it starts to make a difference.

  • You're forgetting though it's a new system. It might not work the same way as it does now when it comes to damage output and resistance.

  • You make valid point. It may be tougher than we've been used to, there's also going to be more ways to combat it. Like having burn resistances on chest armor, not being returned to orbit ( which most likely means we get checkpoints), and I'm hoping for new modifiers. Skolas was though, only because of the one level difference. Hopefully they do away with that "artificial" difficulty and give us more challenges (like VOG). I think our light level will give us the advantage.
