There's no loss there as there's no meaningful communication to begin with, nor has there been any improvement on it since the game came out.

It is apparent that you do not even comprehend what I wrote nor why. My statement was that what the OP wrote would not cause any negative difference if everybody followed through on that. There is no meaningful communication that comes from DeeJ in the first place, so people muting him will have no detrimental affect on the community because THERE IS NO LOSS. If DeeJ started to acknowledge the community concerns and would even come out and say that he was trying to get the devs to move on the issues, people would be more accepting. Then you would be correct because we would be shutting off the communication line as he would be attempting to do something about it. He ignores the issues in the first place and never even replies to community concerns!!!! Hell, he doesn't even ACKNOWLEDGE that the main issues summarized by people in these forums even exist in the first place! There is no alternative to "stop the laziness" as you phrased it because there is no alternative. The devs refuse to put out any of the information or answers requested by the community and DeeJ continues to do the same thing while not even stonewalling the community but blatantly ignoring them. That is not a "community manager". That is not even a PR person. You do not ignore your customers completely. People have almost no more answers to the main questions repeatedly asked in these forums since day one. One of the few major issues that ever got resolved (partially only I might add) was that of vault space. Everything else is still wide open out there without any answers or even acknowledgement from the devs or DeeJ that those concerns are even being looked at.

MY point is your sabotaging the spirit of your desired goals. how can you expect better communication when your not using communication? you dont stop a flood by throwing MORE water into it, so why would you use bad communication to deal with bad communication? this sounds like you dont really want anything at all. no answers? dude, ALOT of answers have been given regarding MANY issues/topics/questions presented in these forums. lets take some TTK questions answered: you dont need the DLC to; reach lv 40, access exotic blue-prints (even the new versions). raid doesnt need to be completed to access end-game (for some reason alot of people thought this.), old legendaries will NOT be upgradeable for the time being (they could always pull another HoW/etheric light), all exotics WILL be upgradeable at a later time. everything on the community wishlist is acknowledged by bungie to possibly be addressed at some point. (not a promise to be, but also not an outright no.) how are these not the things you said?

Actually, to continue the newspaper metaphor, we just go somewhere else (cozmo and gi it seems) to get the communication.
