honestly after reading this new weekly update i'm pretty worried seeing as how there is a chance we won't be able to play endgame content without the ttk

That's exactly how it will be. They restricted all the strikes and raids with dlc now why would it change. The fact they threw in vanilla destiny and the first expansion is almost a dead giveaway you will need all the content in order to do anything.

They won't lock you out of the old raids and (probably) the Nightfall. The old raids are no longer considered end game because they won't get you the best loot. I don't think it will be too much different from what it was before.

They specifically mentioned only 1 strike is a PS exclusive, please do your research.

Hum I believe I did, the dust palace and the undying mind, those are two year old strikes were just getting, please do some research

I'm unsure of what you are trying to say here. Do you think that they are locking us out of the 2 strikes that are now open to everybody? That kinda defeats the purpose of it being not exclusive anymore.

Edited by Dbread: 8/28/2015 8:45:27 AMA) These strikes aren't endgame material, there is nothing to suggest TTK lockout. B) Dust Palace was a vanilla strike, therefor there are no DLC requirements. Undying Mind is a Dark Below strike, therefor it requires Dark Below to access. Neither one are Taken King strikes, therefor neither one requires Taken King to play.

Just they were all coming at the same time as ttk so I was hoping the wouldn't try to pull the rug over our eyes

Exactly man. Locking the now open to everybody strikes behind the ttk paywall because strike playlists as I interpreted he weekly update is now locked until you finish the ttk story?

Nightfall will be completely different they will totally lock people out.

Yeah, one of my problems with Bungie is that they are too vague. I see where not specifying is a good business tactic as you can have multiple meanings to your statement, but I wish they were more clear and defined on what they want to do.
