I agree. It's not the fact the digital edition gets digital items not available in the physical edition, it's the fact that this wasn't decided on and presented to us up front, so that we could decide which edition to go for. Had I known I would have gone for the digital CE as I value exclusive in-game stuff more than I do exclusive physical items.

Edited by LastRebel002: 8/28/2015 6:17:28 AMExactly... I wanted to preorder and support the game, I was presented with two options that were the same price: A. Game + Extras B. Game Was a no brainer to me as I was going to preorder either way. The physical goodies will get tossed in storage like all the other stuff I get with collector's editions, but to me it was a free upgrade. Now, a little later group B that knew good and well what was included in both editions before their purchase, then complain and get handed extra goodies. I know, the pricing scheme was stupid to start with. But... being a informed purchaser and going with the better deal, to then later be punished by not recieving everything I can with a collectors edition is frankly bs. Not butthurt either way, but in-game items only obtainable to the group B buyers because they complain is silly. I preordered they same as everyone else, except group A was smart enough to get there stuff up front and not complain later.

Edited by spac3ycow6oy: 8/28/2015 1:36:11 PMAs a big Destiny fan I want to be able to get ALL the content. I recently paid £60 for a Blacksmith shader because of this. If I miss out on something cool because of Bungie's sudden decision to change the content of the digital version I'll be mighty annoyed. I'm already buying all the original content again just so I can get what I was led to believe was the ultimate version of The Taken King. Don't even get me started on the issue of us UK peeps paying more. £80 does NOT equate to $80. Not even close. :/
