I've never been into tabletop games but I've always wanted to try one after reading the manga call King of RPGs.

Table Top rpg s are fun if you have the right people and good imagination of you don't have both those things they can be one of the worst gaming sessions you will ever have I've played in some groups that make it feel as if you are part of a wonderfully scripted fantasy adventure and other groups that made it feel as if you were reading ikea instructions in german written by a Chinese illiterate who was given a word processor from Russia that was using fifty percent replacement keys from ancient Egypt while the person running the game thinks they are doing a great job but all they do is give you riddle after riddle that makes no sense what so ever such as the three doors lead out of this room two have Suns painted on them the other a cow in a boat they are locked and on the opposite wall is a knife that has a chicken leg for a handle amd on the floor is a hole about 3 inches deep and 2 inches around on the ceiling is a bucket hanging from a rope that can't be cut or broken in any way and then the answer would be something so stupid like you finally remembered the inn keeper have you a key in the last town you were in for your room and he said it was a Skelton key so 4 hours of trying to think of a way through the doors only to have it be the stupid key from town make sure you find a good gm if you ever play table top rpg OK later

That was [i]the[/i] best example of past experiences I've ever seen.
