Ladies and Gentlemen, after the success of my previous post concerning the age limit of Destiny, I now bring an equally concerning topic.
Destiny's Crucible.
For those who don't know, Destiny has two main modes. Story and Crucible. The crucible is a violent mash of players killing and dying to gain a numeric advantage over an opposing team. With that being said, I have a few ways that we can change the crucible to be more child friendly.
1)All players required to acknowledge the humanity and skill value of the other players. There is a large skill inequality gap between players in Destiny. To make this fair, I believe players that "go positive" should receive no rewards and in fact get a handicap of only using primary weapons to make it fair and easier for other players to catch up.
2)Friendliness. Destiny's community is a very hostile and unfriendly one. The crucible is even worse. Just the name sounds mean. I don't want people walking around, getting angry and yelling "DIE IN THE CRUCIBLE" everywhere I go. I believe to aide this problem, the crucible should be named "Rapid Action" to allow for a more warming environment. Also I think that players should face a 3 week ban minimum and a deletion of an exotic weapon as punishment for cursing and harsh language.
3)Shaking Hands. I dislike the idea of a place where people who "lose" don't get a full feeling of satisfaction in a game they paid for. At the end of each game the players should line up and compliment each other. An emote would be added where players could shake hands to make the opposing side feel more like winners, even if they lost.
Thank you for your support. Together we can change the crucible for the better.
