Not a big fan of the nightfall change...
Wiping no longer returns Fireteams to Orbit
...But that is what made nightfalls so special, that added difficulty made it fun and felt rewarding. Taking that out will make it feel like a normal strike.

Too many changes. Too much Gearicide. I'll be looking forward to the inevitable Destiny Classic. #wejustneededmorecontent

How will we get our strange coins?
-
I'm just not happy with the removal of the xp bonus. I did this damn thing first thing each week just for that. Increasing xp gains across the board? Ok, but the point is that it gave me a reason to do the activity, and it made the activity worth the reward even if the actual "rewards" I got were worthless, which they are 99% of the time. I am bound to reach this point again where I have most/all of what I want. For now I'm taking solace in the fact that I won't have that stupid blue light circling my head all week. Hopefully... maybe they'll throw that shit back in there somehow for no reason whatsoever. Ugh

So will we have to beat the raid to do pvp bounties and nightfall

Did anyone catch the part about having to survive Oryx to partake in the endgame content? Considering the amount of people who didn't raid due to insufficient matchmaking, there likely won't be many people playing that content in Year 2. Yes...I know...LFG. Clearly the community has spoken on that solution based on the raid participation stats though.
-
No more nightfall modifiers...
-
I don't get why the Nightfall was nerfed. Who was complaining?
-
Changes are great. Strike playlists needed a change up. Nightfall's will hopefully be a bit more fun now. Love love love that strikes drop specific loot now
-
Nightfalls sound like there's less point to them now. Also less challenge. They better find a replacement for the bonus xp quickly.
-
Curious about how we will earn strange coins but overall I like the changes. Not having to switch between characters (and gear) to do the weekly activities is great and saves time and hassle. The changes to nightfall lead me to believe they could add matchmaking to it in the future which I've been asking for since launch.
-
EPIC FAIL. 1)Nightfall need to be HARDER. Now if you wipe its still fine. They added a respawn timer which is Smart. I think they need the 30 timer AND the restart mechanic. 2) as soon as I'm done with most of the collecting ing ttk, nightfall will be useless just as they are now. EXCEPT now I don't even get a xp boost.

Honestly hyped, Destiny was really only cool during the first getting to level 20 and getting the new gear. Then my first raid and the first nightfall were amazing. Hopefully TTK revives this feeling
-
Strange coins will still be used and will come from a variety of places
-
Sounds like they're moving away from strange coins. Probably gonna trash Xûr
-
Im confused about how else we get awarded legendary marks?. As far as we know only weekly hc's award marks. It says that you can earn as many as you like in a week, yet the update says only the first 3 weeklys award marks. Whats the deal?
-
I got the feeling they are cutting back the amount of rewards you can gain from them a bit. Since it's going to be connected to accounts now.
-
Made me wonder how we'll obtain Strange Coins in amounts of 27 every week, since they're removing Weekly Heroic Strikes. Also wondering if we'll have to beat all the other content again due to the new Quest system.
-
More Year Two Desticles will Never Understand content. -wiping from nightfalls -learning cheeses to avoid wiping -swapping through all 3 characters for rewards -Nightfall XP buff and flaming blue head
-
I like it. They did feel like a chore. My heart dropped when I saw the size though. 18GB? Looks like I need to clear some space. Batman Arkham Knight takes up 68GB on my HD. The Witcher 3 is 40GB. BF4 is 60GB. Dragon Age is 60GB. God...
-
Hate the fact you have to be level 40 to do nightfalls and weeklies, taking away the reputation bonus. Makes no sense to me
-
Loved it. Identifying issues and trying something to fix them. I can't hate on that.
-
Holy -blam!-ing gigabytes
-
It sucks

We can't do any endgame without doing TTK storyline. "Did we mention that you’ll need to confront the immediate threat first? Oryx lies between you and these challenges. You'll need to survive his wrath to partake in the new endgame."
