Just felt like the inclusion of the notification circles as to where the mortar would drop was a huge handicap and made that strike a little too easy.

Or make the circles appear 1 second before it hits the ground so if you can react and get out fast enough then it won't hit you. And make it do slightly more dmg

Bump. Skilled players with functioning eyes shouldn't be forced to run even more easy bullshit because this community is full of people who need their hands held.

We only saw it on it's easy difficulty, I'm assuming it gets harder.

I think they should just increase the aoe. If they took it out completely ppl would get rekt in nightfall

At least make the attack go faster, the other mortar brother doesn't look nearly as hard as John Cena.

I think they should on the harder difficulties, on normal I think its fine. Give you a warm up to figure it out, so when you try to take on the higher difficulties its actually harder

No. Because you when you are actualy playing the strike. 1. You won't be able to follow the trajectory fo the mortar blasts. 2. You will be fighting adds, and possibly even the other boss at times, so there will be plenty of times when people get caught by the blasts.

I agree. I've seen several responses to your comment say that he fires quite a few rounds, but so do many of the year one bosses. This is definitely a first and I wonder why they decided to include this feature in the game. Is this part of the dumbing down of this game?

Might be one of the burns on the nightfall or heroic. The one showed was a green difficulty.

I feel like some kind of indicator is necessary, otherwise the fireteam's just going to constantly get shelled, or otherwise pummeled while trying to track the mortars in the sky. Perhaps reducing the amount of time the circles appear, or switching to a simple, less conspicuous shadow indicator?
