The people who talk shit about Fruit are the same ones who talked shit about the other community guests and the only thing I can think of to explain it is people having way too much time on their hands. The only one that I thought deserved even a little bit of the backlash was Broman because he was pretty obnoxious, but even that was severely overblown. People sent him -blam!-ing death threats for yelling during a reveal of a video game expansion. Some of y'all take this shit way too seriously.
