Deleting a character - What will I lose?
Hello everybody! I'm thinking about remaking my hunter before TTK comes out and I'm wondering exactly what I will lose by doing so. I'm aware that all equipment and inventory items will vanish, but what about my Faction levels, Triumphs, PVP Stats and etc? Let me know!
PS: I just want to change how my hunter looks like. I've got some pretty nice crucible stats, so I'm not too sure If I'll be going through with this.

1 ReplyYou'd lose all progress made on that character. This includes faction rep, stats, subclasses, etc. Triumphs are also character based. If you delete a character that has completed a Triumph, or any percentage of a triumph, you will lose that progress. It is highly advised to wait until Taken King to delete a character.

4 RepliesYou will lose everything that you leave on that character and all progress with it. Grimoire progress will stay but nothing else will. It's basically starting the game fresh.

7 RepliesJust wait until after TTK launches. You get to keep your triumphs and Bungie will give you an item that boosts you to LVL 25.

Normally your Vault stuff would stay but I don't know what happens to the Vault if you delete ALL of your characters. Faction Rep will go away. I'm not sure about PvP stats. I've heard both things here: stay and delete. Triumphs are a fuzzy area. According to the FAQ the triumphs are bound to the character and not the account -- delete that character and lose its achievements. I've heard mixed experiences on this however... but I wouldn't count on keeping them (all).
