I just received a phone call from Activision consumer support in response to a complaint I filed with the Better Business Bureau against Bungie. He told me that they are well aware of the feedback Destiny is receiving and they are sorry that I'm so dissatisfied with the product.
I desired a full refund of the purchase price of the game and both dlc, they weren't authorized to do that. However, they are sending me a sealed copy of Destiny to return to recoup some of my money [i]and[/i] a free copy of another Activision game, which will also be sealed and also can be traded; I chose Advanced Warfare.
I advise all players who are truly dissatisfied and disgusted by Bungie and their tactics, to file a complaint with the BBB if you want results. I heard from Activision [i]personally[/i] in less than 24 hours and got immediate results.

*Edit* The trolls here crack me up. Are you really that upset at me for making Bungie look even worse? I couldn't care less about getting my money back, Accountability to the player from Bungie is long overdue.

Not even when you killed Atheon for the first time? Or stomped Crota into dust? Or beat Skolas in his Prison? Or crushed noobs in the Crucible? Or went flawless for your first time? Or got that gun you've been grinding for? You've never experienced apprehension when you log on every Friday morning to check what Xur has for sale? Never been shocked when you saw a legendary engram on the ground. Never been ecstatic when that exotic bounty you've been searching for finally popped (after turning in all of your daily missions at once, of course)? If so, then I don't understand why you stuck with the game for so long. You clearly never had fun and hated the game, so why continue to play? If not, than you're pretty much a terrible person and a hypocrite. In spite of all the time you've put into the game (probably more than most other games you've bought), you decide to try for a refund and whine to a higher authority because you disagree with a few decisions Bungie made. Really? If that's not childish, I don't know what is. Edit: And the sad part is, judging from the repost, is that you expect to be treated like a hero.
