Looks like you signed off already, but just wanted to say that it's part social conditioning and part people not understanding.
Individuals think it is unnatural in the same sense that people of old thought the sun revolved around the earth and that doing a dance and drinking some special concoction would cure whatever ailed you.
If we could properly identify its source (say in the same way we know there's a gene for red hair, or whatever protein controls our sexual preference), then people would be forced to acknowledge that it is not "evil" or "unnatural."
People are scared of what they don't understand. I'm guilty of it myself.
Once you get into religion, you're getting into a never ending cycle of logical fallacies. You are better off not challenging someone's religious beliefs when discussing sexuality.
The idea of "Choice" is odd to me, because as early as I can remember I always liked girls and my parents have photos and tell me stories of kissing a neighbor's girl (same age) before I even had memories. I never "made" a choice to be heterosexual.
To all those that think it's a choice, when did YOU decide to be a heterosexual? was it at age 6? 10? 13? maybe you like both and that's why you think it's a choice, I don't know.
And seriously at the end of the day, there's so many problems in the world and the one people decide to focus on is who that other person decides to spend his/her life with? haha then again... there's a reason shows like Big Brother are so popular, because people love to care about the stupidest things that other people do. sigh.
Lastly if anyone is offended, I apologize for offending you, I tried to be as polite as possible.
