1 ReplyThis is a dumb complaint. Yes the base robes are the same design but the color and effects are all unique and badass. I don't know if you noticed but Helm of Inmost light is the same as Knight Type helmets for Titans, the Radiant Dance machines are just green light versions of legendary Hunter boots, the Bones of Eao use the bones from the other Ahamkara exotics, the Mask of the Third Man and Arachnid helmets have the same lower mask part, and the Achlyophage Symbiote is just a goopy remake of the old Hunter helmets. Now let's see if we think all those exotics were made lazily and that Bungie is trying to trick us or maybe this has more to do with how gear works in the Destiny universe and how it becomes exotic.

I like the starfire protocol robes but i hate the perks. Im glad they reskinned the exotics. The perks are where it matters. And that shot gun is interesting shooting a slug instead of bird shot. Now u really have to aim if not theres more chance to miss.

They're trying to make exotic armor pieces unique. Their trying to make exotic weapons function unique. I think exotics aren't supposed to be powerful. They're supposed to be situational. And unique. Really unique.

obsidian mind is vanilla vanguard helm, aclyophage symbiote is a rare helm with moss, nothing manacles are very similar too sunbreakers, bones of Eao are helm of ahamkara, spine of ahamkara, and circlet of bones warlock bond. ToO weapons just recolored vendor weapons. so whats your point? making brand new #D meches or models is very time consuming, and nobody praised PoE weapons for their aesthetics. besides, they're ROBES! what, did you expect some WoW BS where it has 12 popped collars and individually rendered HD belt buckles? it looks cool.
