They are farely similar... but I'm gonna wait to cry wolf until I get them both and can equip them to see them full body. Re-skinning isn't bungie specific.

6 RepliesYeah, so what? the game started off vanilla with two exact same chest pieces for Hunter and Titan (Crest of Alpha Lupi). You think they're just being lazy? Just because they have this doesn't mean they're being lazy, it means they're changing up the game. They never claimed to "have all different exotics and never have the same because some of our players think we're being lazy." They're changing the game, now Hunters can have two Melees as well as Warlocks. Just like Titans can have 2 grenades thanks to an exotic chest piece, does that mean they just copied The Warlock? What about when Starfire came out? Were they just being lazy and copying the Armamentarium? Why would you not be excited about letting Hunters have two melees? It's gonna be awesome. What about having 3 throwing knives? The other classes don't even have anything like a throwing knife so that's a reason right there that this is a unique exotic, it adds on to that. tl;dr Why should bungie not do things just because some player thinks they're being lazy?
