How many hours have you put into Destiny? 100+? And you're really telling me that you never enjoyed it?
Not even when you killed Atheon for the first time? Or stomped Crota into dust? Or beat Skolas in his Prison? Or crushed noobs in the Crucible? Or went flawless for your first time? Or got that gun you've been grinding for?
You've never experienced apprehension when you log on every Friday morning to check what Xur has for sale? Never been shocked when you saw a legendary engram on the ground. Never been ecstatic when that exotic bounty you've been searching for finally popped (after turning in all of your daily missions at once, of course)?
If so, then I don't understand why you stuck with the game for so long. You clearly never had fun and hated the game, so why continue to play?
If not, than you're pretty much a terrible person and a hypocrite. In spite of all the time you've put into the game (probably more than most other games you've bought), you decide to try for a refund and whine to a higher authority because you disagree with a few decisions Bungie made. Really?
If that's not childish, I don't know what is.
Edit: And the sad part is, judging from the repost, is that you expect to be treated like a hero.

Beating Atheon the first time? You mean cheesing something the developers clearly didn't test? Beating Crota the first time? Cheeeeeeeeeese Beating Skolas. You mean waiting for hours on LFG to find a party that doesn't require Jellyhorn? Stomping noobs/going flawless - You mean dealing with lag switchers and Thorn? All the while watching NOBODY get punished for it. There's nothing that was made in this game, that didn't have unnecessary bullshit attached to it, to the point of it not being worth it. The OP is more of a hero than you sir. He actually has the balls to point out the bullshit in this game, whilst having to combat fools like you who blindly support this shit, making it last even longer. It was actually a blast getting through Atheon, Crota, and Skolas for the first time because my fire team did them day one of their releases. It was challenging but fun to overcome them. Only problem was lag. I can't say much for the gjallorhorn thing because my friends didn't care. I do know that there are clans that are more then willing to take people without a gjallorhorn. Crucible is still a lag fest but when it plays fine, I enjoy the gameplay. Op exotics do take away from the experience but that's why I make it a habit to forge legendaries that can compete. (Not a solution but I find enjoyment from it). Trials is still fun (when there's no lag switchers). I can't say that I didn't enjoy destiny. Not really arguing but he still brought up good points by saying that you couldn't have hated playing everything about the game. I mean why would you still play? Bungie does need to answer for some bullshit but I think what op did was uncalled for because he did it after he's played the game for a while.

The definition of "scam" is a "dishonest scheme." You pretty much swindled the BBB into forcing Activision to give you free stuff by not mentioning your playtime in the game, and exaggerating Bungie's flaws. You then went and continued to play Destiny even after they gave you your "refund" and you technically gave up all ownership of the game.

It's not dishonest to file a complaint to something you find distasteful. And while a refund may have been asked, he never gave up the right to play something he's already purchased. You want to mention scam, objectively not subjectively look at what promises Bungie offered as to what Destiny was supposed to be as opposed to what it turned out to be. Most who are caught up in the awe without objectivity will always feel the need to bash other's opinions. Especially when those opinions mostly supported by facts, hit close to home. They don't won't to admit the perverbial wool that was pulled over the eyes of many.

When i first bought this game with all the hype and how things were supposed to be as they advertised it. It was nothing of what Bungie said it was. No open world, no looking for materials to upgrade your character like your warlock. Meaning as you explore you find new abilities and that is exactly how they advertise it. Full on lie on how they advertised this game and they are still pulling this same shit. I could go on but you should by now get the point.

But part of me even though i put many hours into this game, i feel Bungie in some sence needs to show a little more appreciation to the one years for leading them on. So him getting somewhat of a refund is not something all that bad. Take me for instance, i made the mistake of pre ordering so not knowing what both expansion were about i had to play. Now going off of dip shit Deej and anyone that is new to this forum or has never been on a forum, has no clue of whats actually going on and i do. So its my right to complain on the bullshit Bungie has done and my right to ask for a refund for the miss leading and lies bungie has made. Here is a prime example. You see a product on tv someone is advertising about it and they make it look like its something more then it is. I get that, its business on how things run in this world. So you buy it and take it home open it up only to find out its not what they advertise it to be. So you return it to get your money back. See, with a video game you dont know what you're getting untill you play it and experience it for yourself to see what its about. The problem with that is, you dont get a refund and you are stuck with a game that not just you but thousands of people that are not happy with it. So here comes Bungie sucking the people in with all the hype and lies and fals hope to keep people around, buy this time you are so cought up in the Bungies bullshit that it actually pisses you off. Now comes the part where you make your choice. Its not easy for alot of people knowing you made friends on here and did have fun with them. But it doesn't take away the fact of what Bungie has done and is still doing. Now your at this point, do i blow my friends off or do i play only certain things. The sad part about this is Bungie knows this and will feed off of it.

I'm not supporting Bungie. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy in what he did. He asked for a refund- after 850 hours of playing the game (never mentioned that in his complaint), and, after he got the refund, decided to sit down and play the Nightfall/Weekly Heroic. Really?
