You'd be correct if you meant "The kind of game where the developer changes currencies, progression systems, and other direction doing complete 180's with every expansion". It's not the game I dislike, it's how Bungie are treating the playerbase. Vanilla launched, was pretty sparse.... then: TDB - all your gear is obsolete, go grind for new stuff. HoW - "We heard you" - go grind for etheric light and you can bring your old gear forward. TTK - "Just Kidding" - Please pretend the last 3 months didn't exist. All that gear you just finished ascending is obsoleted again. How can anyone get excited about exotics that will very likely be irrelevant with the very next balance patch? Case in point: Hard Light. Bungie completely broke Hard Light with the autorifle nerf. They sat on it for EIGHT MONTHS, finally undoing a little of the autorifle damage with TTK. But, Hard Light is being left behind despite it actually being an exotic from one of the new foundries. To sum up: they broke it, left it broken, and then obsoleted it at the same time the fixed it. It's like a ship with nobody at the helm.
