Buy it. You won't need shards or all that bs to level up to 40. Instead you will now level up through XP gained by completing bounties, story mode etc. You will start from 32 (since that's your highest level achieved) and the guns that drop (even green and blue ones) will supposedly outdamage current legendaries. My advice: buy it, enjoy it. If you need help in VoG or Crota's End on PS4, add me ( Riedster ) without the brackets of course.
