To be clear, they're not nerfing "blink strike" they're nerfing bank the short Telenor that replaces a glide/double jump. They're doing it to make blink/shotgun not so damn OP. I feel like shoulder charge is a strong technique, but requires more of the player to execute than blink/shotgun.you have to be sprinting for a certain period of time before it's even optional and it can miss much more easily. They're not removing blink either, just making it more difficult to kill someone with it (though the extent of its nerf is still unclear). Titan melee is the shortest range and arguably the worst of the 3, so giving them shoulder charge is fair IMO.

If they just made shotgun not so op then blink shotgun would effectively be nerfed. Shotguns like -blam!-ing snipers it's absolutely retarded, I refuse to believe that this would go unnoticed in testing. Therfore I think it's just plain lazy. I won't even get started on Thorn. Blink though, is not overly OP in itself. Just doesn't belong on warlocks, and they need to fix the bug that allows for a 3rd blink jump before cooldown. Side note, Bungies very favorable to warlocks. I feel like titans and hunters got much less love from the devs.

Sorry but ur wrong blink is op for many reasons aside from blink shotgun. It's an instant evade u can dodge rockets and grenades others jumps can't. Ur immune to damage for a short second causing players to be killed because they couldn't do damage. U can instantly close the distance between u and the other player the current shotgun range just made this easier to do but with the nerf it's less of a nerf to blinkers compared to other jumps. The skill itself is completely broken compared to any other available options.

I'm sorry but I am not "wrong" simply because we disagree. To each their own man, but I hate blink too, just don't feel it's op. I don't have a problem dealing with blinkers, even the good ones, it's about adapting to overcome. I am terrible with blink because I get disoriented so I don't even use it

Being able to deal with it doesn't mean it's not op aside from game breaking immunity. Shotguns really don't one hit kill from a very large distance if tested its about 5 feet in front of the other person with a felwinters last i tested ( with shot package). Being able to close the distance from 10 ft to instantly 5 ft allows for the constant one shot kill which is what blink does. Also blink makes a player immune for a short time so u can't deal with it no matter how u try it is what it is. Another issue with blink shotgun doesn't really have to do with the shotgun itself but instead QuickDraw which blade dancers can always have. In the case a person blinks towards u before u can even adjust ur aim they already have their weapon ready. U can take the time to aim up then aim but they are already ready from the start all someone can hope for is they miss. Blink has far to many advantages over every other jump and almost no disadvantage which is why it's considered op.

Edited by Psychedelia: 8/25/2015 2:04:22 AMI strongly disagree with most of everything you said. 1. Shotguns ARE getting nerfed. 2. Warlocks will always have blink just like hunters and it's fine. 3. All races play equally. Hunters arguably are best but it's really even IMO. I play all 3 and favor none. I truly don't know what makes you think blink does or doesn't belong on any character but it is what it is.

I know the shotguns are getting nerfed, and the reason I think warlocks got the most love isn't because of balance in pvp, it's more about there armors and perks but I also know that's subjective. I also know that warlocks are not going to lose blink i was just voicing my opinion. Lastly I wasn't speaking about races, but classes rather. I know you knew that though :-P My only real point is that blink isn't really OP and doesn't need a nerf. Once the shottys are nerfed, and the third jump bug is fixed, blink will no longer seem OP. If someone blinks and dodges a rocket, good for them, it's not like just because someone shoots a rocket it should be a guaranteed kill. I can dodge rockets with double jump too. Does that make it op? Anyhow all subjective in the end.

Edited by Psychedelia: 8/25/2015 2:28:14 AMYep it is. Furthermore, there's nothing we can do to change the coming nerfs. It'll have to be in place for months and months and then thousands will have to bitch and say it's too nerfed now then it'll go back to normal.
