For those having trouble with Lightswitch on Skolas...............

Small arms is your greatest ally. The most important tips I can give as someone who finds lightswitch to be not a big problem when small arms is the second modifier: -Kills adds from the small platform on the right, at the top. Run in, pop the servitor, rocket Skolas, and when adds pop move to the small platform. The sword captain does not jump up, the regular captain may but he comes up from one side only. As does any other add. If you have a titan, have him pop his bubble so you can hide from some of Skolas' splash damage when you need to. If you have two titans you have continuous bubbles. All adds should be destroyed from this platform in the beginning. Later in the fight when you are damaging Skolas from the high platform, and he is between you and the small platform, adds will pop. It is ok to down them from the high platform as well, as long as Skolas is on the far side and not about to overrun you. Two things two watch out for, the regular captain that comes out a nearby door, and the sword captain that comes from the other side. Which leads me too..... -Do not damage skolas until someone has verified they took out the sword captain. I repeat, do not damage skolas until someone has verified the sword captain is down. He is the only sword captain that spawns when adds pop, and he always comes out from under the small platform. If you're on the platform, he will usually stay under until you move. Sometimes he will move out a bit and just stand under you while you kill him. If you have killed all other adds, and are moving back to the high platform to damage Skolas, DO NOT DAMAGE SKOLAS UNTIL SOMEONE CONFIRMS THE SWORD CAPTAIN IS DEAD. It is very easy to get caught up in damaging Skolas and this bastard will sneak up on you and wipe your whole team. If you are killing adds from the high platform, he will eventually make his way over to you. Everyone must be watching out for this. If you grenade him he will duck, otherwise everyone focus small arms on him until he is down for every single round of adds. If he makes it up to the ramp everyone jump back down the stairs and focus on taking him out. He is the single most important factor outside of Skolas as I am pretty certain everyone is by now aware of the poison. I will close by saying do not damage Skolas until someone confirms they have killed the sword captain. The second captain as well but to a lesser degree. -adds melt with small arms. And they flinch, unlike angry. Most times adds will go down quicker than you realize. And someone on your team will want to damage Skolas. Don't. Once you have verified step 2, make sure all supers are a go before the mines pop. Only damage Skolas from the high platform. Mainly because you don't want to have to have your titan pop their bubble over there because Skolas' splash damage is wrecking you while you are waiting to see where the first mine pops. You wanna save your bubble for the middle mine if possible. Two, if you only have one titan, or none, gally or rocket all adds between you and the mines. Adds will jump on the middle mine. Repeatedly. They will probably already be there when you go for it. Rocket, rocket, rocket. Clear them off so you can at least land. -Only damage skolas with small arms once you get the poison. This is crucial for add control. This way you can control when the adds come in, and stop damaging skolas when they do and not accidentally pop mines unexpectedly, and not get snuck up on by the sword captain. Did I mention what a dbag he is? Will wipe your whole team. As soon as someone sees adds, stop. This is easily accomplished from the high platform as the shanks are the first adds to come out, so you can immediately stop hitting skolas, and work on clearing adds, keeping an eye out for the sword captain. I don't know if you can tell, but I hate that guy on lightswitch. -after you have gotten past the first mines, there is one more round of adds before the second mines, more than likely two though. The second mines usually pop right after the K in Skolas. If you have cleared the first mines, and have cleared a round of adds, very important everyone have full gally or rockets before the second mines pop, and full supers in case this next part doesn't work immedately. Small arms until the mines pop, then everyone switch to rockets and go to town on Skolas. Even if the first mine comes up, if he is not about to overrun you, continue to blast him. You should, SHOULD, be able to finish him before the team moves to the first mine. Even if the person with the poison has to take a death to get off that last rocket to down him, it's worth it. All adds will clear as well as the poison. You just have to clear mines. This works with 3 full gallys. Even works with two gallys and another rocket. Not sure if it will work non or one gally. Hopefully this helps some having trouble and spending hours upon hours on Skolas. I have completed Skolas a bunch of times myself helping others, and since the burns have gone, I'd take lightswitch every week long as it comes with small arms. Angry is tedious.
