The latest is just one of a series of gross misrepresentations and outright lies told by Bungie staff about Destiny. They lied about the depth of the game before launch. They lied about the content and story for the launch game and both "expansions" - hell, even calling those retread DLCs expansions was a lie in and of itself. They've made a business model out of bullshitting customers who hang onto hope that things will get better if they just keep throwing money at the screen. This isn't Halo Bungie. This is Sellout Bungie. Everyone who actually gives a tenth of a -blam!- about gaming and gamers is at 343i. To think - they are actually trying to pass off patches as a reason to drop 40 anything on a DLC that will just recycle the same enemies and strikes ("re-imagined" lol). Pathetic. The only way to get to them is by closing your wallet.

Halo bungie did it to, bungie invented recycling levels. Halo three you fight through a building. Get outside and here comes the flood. Next thing you know its night time and you are fighting your way BACKWARDS through the same building fight the flood. Being a gamer veteran and avid PC gamer, this offended me then and it does now, too. After they did it other devs started doing it too.

  • This issue is less about a lie, and more about changing their minds and not really communication that. I heard this quote somewhere before "Omission of the truth is still a lie", obviously paraphrased. They DID speak about how they were talking internally about whether to keeping old weapons or not (Luke Smith said it after Deej said the "Married to your guns" comment), it's just that we didn't hear the verdict until the last damn minute and it came with no explanation or any level of empathy from bungie and contradictory stance statements were also made afterwords. These are the type of facts you slap down BEFORE asking people to pay, not after. And they are actually losing sales because of it now.

  • Your bang on the money mate. Bungie traded on its former glory and we all bought it. I am not getting TTK until I see trusted reviews and forum feedback. There's no need to get it day one anyway cos you'll easily catch up if TTK is any good.
