Loadouts and PVP tips

So guys, I've been looking at some of the setups you guys have for pvp load outs, and they aren't poetically that great, I'm not saying that those load outs aren't good or they won't work. I'm just saying they could be tweaked a little to maximize your best perks for your class. So I'm going to tell you guys what I run, and why I run with the setup I have for each class. WARLOCK: I mainly use sunsinger, you will rarely ever see me switch to a void walker because the sunsinger just fits my play style better. Fire bolt grenades are a must, they are one of the most over powered things in the game, I also have touch of flame and Viking funeral on so the burning lasts twice as long. The burning lasts about 1.5 times longer than the thorn burn. So anyone it hits, it should leave them with half health no matter what. I also have my setup so it's maxed out at armor and recovery, you don't really need a lot of agility in pvp compared to armor and recovery. HUNTER: I usually only use bladedancer but I'll show you guys what I run with both subclasses. Bladedancer: I have arcbolt grenades because just like the firebolt, it's one of the overpowered grenades. I'm a fan of blinking but other guys can't just get the hang of it. But trust me, use it, learn it, and get better at it and it will really help you out in the long run. Gunfights are won and lost over blinking. It's easier to use blink, than to defend against someone else using it. For my super, I use razors edge because it better than chasing someone down. It also can go through a Titan bubble and hit people inside it. I have backstab on because you don't really need to go invisible in pvp. It's unneeded and useless. I run QuickDraw instead of shadow jack because like I said, it's useless to go invisible. And to top it off I use hungering blade. Gunslinger: I start off with tripmines. I'd rather have triple jump than the other ones just because it's what I prefer. I have combustion, and incendiary blade. The throwing knife doesn't do a lot of damage but when you add the burn on it, it adds. I use keyhole and over the horizon. TITAN: Lightning grenades are the Titans version of the god grenades, I use it to cut off choke points on the map, it's does a significant amount of damage. I like to use aftermath to leave a damage field on someone's orb in trials so they can't revive them right away. I also run aftershocks on so it increases the duration of the grenades and aftermath. I also use shoulder charge. And I max out my armor and recovery. Weapons: You can't really straw away from exotic primary's just because of the sheer power of them. Last words and thorns you can never go wrong. Next best thing would be a red death. Now as shotguns go, you need something with shot package. Find a party crashed or matador and put shot package on it. Anything else on it that helps with range just makes it better. I've seen people using a dry rot, it doesn't have the impact to shoot through over shields. And as for rockets goes, the best roll, is tripod, grenades and horseshoes, warhead verniers and javelin. But the one you need is horseshoes. No if ands or buts. And for all my characters I try to max out intellect and discipline as much as I can. If anyone has any question feel free to ask.

  • Nice work ward.. Only different thing I use in pvp is the exploding golden gun instead if keyhole.. So I was on the right track, now to get better with blink. Thx a lot for the post bro!
