Two very useful tools most Destiny players don't know about.
There is a website called the100.io which is by far the best lfg site. You get grouped in groups of 100 (you can be in many groups) depending on options you choose. You can require a mic, choose if foil language is ok or not, play hours, etc. You post what activity you want to do and when, and it schedules it and sends emails to everyone in your group. They sign up until the spots are full and the quality of players is so much better than the kids you find on most random lfgs.
It's a really great tool, it even let's you know what time activities are in your own time zone.
And a second tool is great for folks who run clans. Slack.com is like a new updated version of irc chat. It's extremely versatile, my clan uses it now, since the bungie forums and clan walls just aren't thst efficient and very bulky. Slack has an app for all tablets and phones also.
A Web developer in my clan created a bot in our slack chat that posts a message any time anyone in the clan schedules a game on the100.io, and it's amazing.
I highly recommend utilizing these tools folks, they are free and just take a minimal extra amount of work to set up and makes organization much less of a nightmare.

1 ReplyWe became a Clan because of The 100 and we use Line chat. It's been great for our Clan. We're evolving too, because many of us moved over to Xbone over the Summer. Many of us still use both systems and we can coordinate raids/crucible/strikes etc with The 100. I highly recommend [url=http://www.The100.io]The 100[/url], but like anything else, you'll need to find what works for you. I got lucky on my first 100 group.

good for POE, NF but harder for Raids since you need 6 people. People will sign up for the raid but not everybody shows up on time or people do not show up at all.

There is also many mobile apps to help you quickly manage your loadouts. at least i know of 4 for Android: Loadout Manager for Destiny (I'm bias on this one cause i made it, btw, prepare for big update) Tower Ghost for Destiny Vault Helper for Destiny PackMule for Destiny

Why option two is still needed for a Triple A, multiplayer game is so beyond me. Add a few custom options. Light Level, Mic, Gear? etc.. and a search function.. how is this difficult for bungie to get done

1 ReplyI resisted using lfg sites up until how. I've used 100 since then and have only had a few bad experiences with no shows and just bad groups. But in the end it's still matching me with ransoms so the second matchmaking comes to the game I'll never log on the 100 again.
