Today our greatest voice was silenced; LostSols was forum banned today for defending himself against a pair of spiteful trolls. The exact content that got him banned is unknown, although I sincerely doubt it was above the level we commonly see here. Knowing the way Sols posts, even against those trolling, this ban comes as a shock to myself and many others. The thoughtful, well constructed and brutally honest posts he regularly treats us to, I believe, has made him Undesirable No.1 to Bungie. I'm certain his "offense" was minor but Bungie jumped at the chance to ban him ahead of the weekly update. Bungie doesn't like people like LostSols as he represents what they fear most, a [i]smart[/i] consumer. Someone who won't swallow the shit they try to feed to him, who won't be spun, someone who isn't so blinded by Halo nostalgia that he'll "Throw money at the screen". He is a free thinker and shows people it's ok to be, especially here where fanboys can be overwhelming. To ban LostSols while people who call others fags, who tell others their mothers wish they would have aborted them, people who spew sexism and racist hate run free is un-f.ucking-acceptable! You at Bungie are cowards at best and criminals at worst. You silenced his voice temporarily, but his voice is the clearest and loudest of all here and will still be heard through us in his absence.
