I made three Titans back in the day when getting good armor drops was near impossible ("Forever 29"). Then I started deleting them to level up the other 2 classes. I made a Hunter, got him gear, got him to level 34 and did a bit of crucible with him. I tried blinking and didn't like it, couldn't get used to it so stuck to being a Gunslinger. Next I made a Warlock and recently just finished him. Then I started trying out Blink...holy crap that thing is broken as all hell!
It's main novelty or thing is that it disorients the incoming enemy. People are like chickens with their heads cut off most of the time unless you go up agains another Blink user...don't even let me get started on the Blink masters...Jesus Christ! Lol.
You might get taken out by a Titan using Shoulder Charge once and then you'll switch to a shotgun like a normal sane person would. If you don't and you repeatedly get taken out by that move then that's on you. Like I said I main a Titan and people react accordingly to SC by pulling a shotty out most of the time.
Does it deserve a nerf? It's debatable, but what's worse? Blink or Shoulder Charge? Now if you only main one or the other then it's a biased answer...use both till you've mastered them and then answer that.

I run into shoulder charge way more than blink shotgun. Blink can disorient the user if you don't pay attention and it's very hard to control. Shoulder charge just locks on to somebody close and you press the melee button easy kill.

It's the opposite for me, I'm not worried though as Blink is getting some kind of nerf.
