I've got an idea for redesigning No Backup Plans, cuz as much as I want the ones DeeJ described that granted force barrier on shotgun kills, they would have been OP. Instead of just increasing the duration of your Force Barrier, your Force Barrier reduces body damage by 50% for approx 10 seconds. Precision damage still applies to you. Yes i got the idea from Callsign Battery from BO3. I didn't wanna make it invincibility except for Headshots for 10 seconds because that would be OP in PvP and PvE. Enemies don't typically go for Headshots except for sniper vandals and Hobgoblins. Pros and cons: Most Shotgunners go for the body, melee doesn't do precision damage (to my knowledge) it is perfect for close quarters combat. Yes you will get head shotted by snipers. You aren't meant to be completely invincible. But not everybody is a CQB headshot quick scope master.
