So glad crutch weapons like thorn and last word are beeing handled with
Like the title says...
Now hoping that special ammo also is becoming rare drops like heavy so the crutches who only run shotguns are dealt with, and crucible will be more FUN :)
Edit: some people are really taking the bait, and start hating. Guys... When you're hungry, go get something to eat...
Because i really don't care! Just wanted to witness for myself how this community REALLY handles each other.

1 ReplyI think that most people are tired of Thorn and The Last Word. I'm glad that they're getting fixed. I wouldn't mind if Special Ammo in the Crucible spawns less frequently than it currently does, but only if they make each drop completely refill your Special Weapon (instead of just giving you one magazine), but make you lose half of your ammunition each time you die.

Agreed, the problem with making special ammo rare is that it makes snipers less useful.

The grenades are by far the worst thing about pvp. Tracking, chasing, 15 foot homing laser, hit you deep behind cover with pinpoint accuracy, hold 2, spawn with 2, revive with recharged energy, stick you like you're a wall, cheesy burn dot, toss a arc bolt at your own feet with no damage taken, absolutely game breaking bullshit.

6 RepliesI don't mean to be a dick, so don't take this offensively but I looked at your stats and they're around ~1.0. Based on that, I'm assuming you're a decent player that needs to get better in general. Oftentimes, an OP weapon will outgun you but skill trumps OP weapons more often then not. I guess what I'm saying, is try to work on your pvp skills and try out different weapons to see which works with your play style, because I think you may not have found it yet. Keep trying man, it's crazy how good you can get when you figure out what works best for you. Anyway, I personally run red death; not exactly an OP weapon but a pretty solid one. I hate the current meta of TLW and thorn everywhere and I'm glad they're getting nerfed a little should actually make things interesting again. As far as special and shotguns are concerned, I feel the problem is actually blink AND shotgun together. Shotguns already have a pretty short range, any lower then the warlock melee would out-range a shotgun basically.

They will still be fun, just less ridiculous. I plan to still use them. I never got really good with TLW because so many people were sniping me with it so maybe now I can.

I will still probably use TLW. It's getting increased accuracy from firing from the hip and a range nerf that won't really effect me cause I single fire at range
