I've never played a game that makes me feel disappointed, actually playing the game doesn't make me feel disappointed it's the thought of these constant changes to the game that I think are negative. Maybe I'm right maybe I'm wrong but that's how this game makes me feel right now.

  • No, you're absolutely right. The only thing Bungie seems to have gotten right is the shooter aspect of the game, and that's questionable with the ridiculously sensitive auto aim assist feature that pulls your weapon off of aiming point (even when you're moving the thumb stick in the opposite direction). There is a certain stability that this game is sorely lacking.

  • Yeah the Aim Assist needs a tweeking. There you are chipping away at a Dregs health bar when his pal runs passed your cross hairs and pulls your aim. It happens so much I ignore it. I'd very much like to try the game without the aim assist on- just to see how well my own unassisted aim is.

  • I disable it in other games, and my aim improves dramatically because I get to lead targets and place my shots as well as prioritize which targets I'm going to shoot at. I don't know how many times I've missed hitting thralls at point blank range with a fusion rifle because it makes me aim at the ground. That feature doesn't make it easier, or harder for that matter, to aim, it simply makes it unpredictable and annoying. And don't get me started on how the sparrows handle, or how your guardian can't raise his/her foot to step over a 2 inch tall object, or how when your toe catches on a ledge it completely reverses your momentum (as if that type of collision were elastic in nature) instead of slowing you down while permitting you to still pass over the object.
