I have not heard of any rumors supposed to increase exotic chance that have worked... Just keep at it friend, someday Atheon's dead body will reward you.

Probably.. just as a tip as soon as atheon dies jump to your death... it supposedly increases your exotic chance sense starting this I've gotten 3 vex and 2 tlw
