They can make the expansion 5 dollars, still wouldn't buy it. Call me an idiot hell you can even call me a liar because I still actively surf and post on these forums, I don't care. But Bungie and Activision will not get another penny out of my pocket for Destiny.

It's been fun. If you're Xbox One, perhaps I'll run into you on another game. I really do hope that for those who stay, enjoy your experience. I haven't played this game in over 2 months after playing it religiously. Don't believe me? Check my Gt out same as my Bungie name on Destinytracker.com. With my 3 characters before I quit playing, I had roughly 2160 hours...54 days equivalent. It was fun while it lasted...for me. Not fun anymore.

I like the discount idea for guardians grin'dingg from day 1. A much better incentive to pickup ttk, than over ad/marketing. (<---over advertising can actually be a bad sign)
-
I left the second i read about the nerf fest. Which was like two months ago. I checked back today to see if they decided against nerfing all those weapons... Not surprised that they haven't changed their minds.

Agree

who would stay?

Spent my money on ESO and never been happier with a game purchase as I have with that one. Won't be purchasing another product from bungie or activision ever again.
-
I'm gone!.. I just spent $40 on Helldivers Ultimate Edition and will be buying MGS: The Phantom Pain... And The witcher 3 season pass when the new DLC comes out. No matchmaking, screwed up weapon balance, updates and fixes no one asks for, proper fu Cking day one players, and a ridiculous DLC price tag...?? Nicely done.

bump!

Good. See you later. Please delete your account and go in peace so I can find something constructive to read on the forums.

This isn't well thought! You got allll the hours of game play up until the year 2 people bought the game! It's cheeper because the year 1 content is irrelevant now. Take a minute to think please! Thank you!
-
Already left....just get on to help friends go flawless which is stupid at this point since nothing will be upgradeable. Not interested in the grind fest of destiny. It's one big money grab. At some point in the future there will be another DLC or destiny 2 where they'll bring back all the hard earned stuff we worked for. But you'll have to pay for that. To many great games coming out to be playing repetitive ass destiny

We'll see you online scrub.
-
Well, we got to play the game before the new people, there are things they will never experience, I don't agree with all the bull sh!t Bungie is about to do, but I can tell you, I have spent 100 dlls for 2-3 hours of entertainment and all of the hours I got from this game are worth the money, they can do better than this, nobody will argue with that but that is the way things are, you want the newest OELD 3D flat screen? You will have to pay full price just to enjoy that sh!t right now, go back a year later and that tv will be half price I can tell you that.
-
40 bucks is not that big of a deal for something thats gonna entertain me for many many hours
-
You got countless exotics, experience (Both PVE and PvP) hopefully maxed 34 characters (which will be level 34 from the rip when TTK drops.) Hopefully you had fun playing with your friends. New players have to grind out from 25 to 40. We've gotten more than a ship, shader and sparrow. TL;DR: Don't act like a spoiled ass brat. It's a game. Enjoy it and be glad they gave us something at all.

Our relationship with Bungie is one those destructive relationships where your girl is hot and everything you want physically but her mentality is just something that kicks you in the balls, you hold on to it until you explode and for that we need more shit from Bungie, as of right now is too soon for some people and they will hold on to it until they are so feed up and hate the game so much.
-
Why should year 1 players get a discount? For what? Endless hours of enjoying their product? Do you think you are that special, that we even care if you are too cheap spending a few dollars for a VIDEO GAME? Get real! Anyway, best wishes and luck in your future endeavors

Im happy with the so im staying

Edited by iiiiKIZERiiii: 8/25/2015 6:00:29 PMLet me do you a favor. 350 for a console, 60 for the original game 30 for the two DLC's Whatever you pay for online gaming PSN, XBL Your Net Bill Your Power Bill Your Mortgage or rent Time away from doing more important things Hours/Days/Weeks/Months or in this case nearly a year playing Your telling me you can't afford 40bucks? Most games I'll play and beat and never touch again. I think for what I've spent on Destiny I've gotten a HUGE bargain.
-
What are you, dirt poor or something? Early adopters always pay a premium and the late comers get deals. This happens to all popular games with game of the year editions and other long in the tooth game bundles.
-
Honestly TTK will never get its price nerfed... Even though we are grinding to save up money for it Bungie won't nerf it.
-
You need to understand the new community...they didn't grind anything...I was playing VOG hard with 1 32..3 33s and a 34...they were at atheon and posted in the forums for help..I joined....I took almost 2 hrs...half of them refused to pick up the relic...only me and the other 34 ,who joined to help, had VOG raid weapons..I tried to explain but they didn't see why oracle disruptor was important Yet they we 32s and 33s...they bought their lvl...this new community never had to grind for lvls and this is why TTK bulls hit doesn't bother them
-
I don't mind people getting everything for $60. What I do mind is that there is no physical Collector's edition for $60 with just the dlc. All other games I've ever seen that offer a CE with dlc or expansion base CE on the cost of the dlc. As it stands year one people pay $20 more for the CE than new players. It is disgusting how Bungie is treating its existing player base at every turn. If they had treated players better this year and priced the CE at $60 with just TTK I would have bought it. Now they get nothing from me. Great businesz plan it seems.....

Edited by AHerdofSocks: 8/25/2015 3:36:52 PMI spent $95 on 400+ hours of a very fun game. I've gotten quite a lot of very enjoyable mileage from the game. I'm willing to continue playing because I've had fun so far. You're a customer, not their buddy. You're not going to get a discount just because you already have the game. I don't know why so many players feel like game companies owe them something because they play games. Bungie has been better with community support than a lot of other companies. It could be much worse. Also, I'm not spoiled just because I can afford DLC for a game, quit saying that.
