Not gonna happen we are hear tell the end
-
You're using Stormcaller and Sunbreaker. You have TTK need. /(.-.)\
-
Your title even contradicts itself. If they are actually dedicated players, then they wouldn't be leaving.
-
Did Anyone point out the OP bought TTK day one? Jus saying? All that ranting, still folded. True loser.
-
I got taken king and it was pretty fun it seems like there is a lot of missing tho. The dreadnaught was well kinda sad because i expected something truly massive. Microtransactions have started.
-
Edited by GENETiK-ICE: 10/17/2015 6:34:53 AMResisted buying TTK. $70 where im at. Wanted to see if anything will change or the grind will be longer. Few of the mates pretty much excited first week now over it n bored. Nerf, buff, patch. In that time of giving up the chore of playing Destiny i have got my Platnium Trophy for Madden 16, finished The Last of Us, clocked Advanced Warfare n jamming on multiplayer now about to start on the Witcher 3. Happy i didnt buy TTK. Sad the gaming industry is turning into this micro transactions though.
-
It's sad. The end of an era. RIP Destiny...
-
Just don't buy it,wait till destiny year three and get a bargain.all your gonna miss out on till next year is weapon nerfs and a couple raid glitches
-
Bump. So much time and money waisted when I could have done this shit a year later. It'll be the same case for year 2 players.
-
It's all about the money. They want a bigger paycheck. If they had competition from a game like destiny would they get away with 40? Probably not. The fact that year 2 noobs can buy two games for the price of one is the problem. I don't mind the 40 if it's worth it. But if I was a noob I would expect to have to pay for the original and the new content for the same if not more than us year ones. Bungie knows more noobs will buy the 60 dollar version because they are getting an awesome bargain compared to us. Right? The fact that they are making us pay to have all our hard work taken from us (guns and armor from year one will not upgrade to year two ever) is the real problem. Makes me wonder why I should keep playing when I just wasted a year collecting a bunch of ACTUAL CRAP as soon as taken king comes out. Who cares if I can still use it in year one activities! Our REWARD for being LOYAL an putting in all that TIME should be the crap we've EARNED. !!!!!!!
-
I am going to wait this expansion out. I will not drop $40 on no confirmed details of this game. I have drank this Kool-Aid to long and I will let others do it for me now and wait to see how awesome this TTK is going to be. I have no high hopes for this expansion based off prior expansions, and I sure as heck won't be pre-ordering this hyped expansion.

Dedicated player and STAYING
-
If you leave over this, you cannot call you self dedicated. Just saying.
-
I'm not leaving
-
I've been playing destiny since the first day of the beta and if the taken king is horrible and bungie keeps up the nerfs and unneeded weapon balancing I'm leaving.
-
Bye Felicia!
-
You're not going to be missed!

Edited by Sorta African: 9/1/2015 2:09:30 AMWe know you're upset about TTK, trust me, we know, you're just riding along with all the other people who feel the same way then typing something long and drawn out about how bungie is scamming, I'm a year one player too, a beta player, and you're pretending to speak for all of us, you're not, so stop trying. I respect your opinion, and I don't dislike you, I don't know you, and I actually like your idea on a discount, but you're just not our spokesman.
-
Please stop pretending to be the spokesperson for all day 1 players.
-
Bump.
-
The benefit for me for playing year one was the thousand hours I have in the game, which in entertainment, spending less than a dollar for ten hours of entertainment is unheard of. Everything becomes on sale for cheaper than launched after it has been out for a while so why would destiny be any different? This whole argument for wanting a game to be cheaper is founded by the idea that you are the only person in the world. Really makes you look like a selfish asshole. Bungie is a business and has people to play so making things discounted because you disagree with the price would ruin them.
-
I started playing Destiny because I bought the whole idea of a true open world game. Boy was I fooled
-
Bungie doesn't care about year 1 players, they care about stealing our money... Even though they have already made millions of dollars on release day of destiny
-
I dig this. Not only are we loosing everything that makes us "Legend," we have to regrind already acquired gear (year 2 exotics), and now we have to pay 40 dollars for a DLC that doesn't even come close to a full game.
-
I think your argument is premised on the assumption that "buyer loyalty" should be monetarily rewarded. I can't think of any market where this is a reality. No disrespect intended but, you are basically pissing up rope.
-
Edited by Falkor Rider: 9/1/2015 1:13:42 AMI wish the TTK VIP rewards were a little more enticing. An idea relating to that matter : https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/150597455/0/0
