Sometimes people use words they recognize to describe things they want to say even if those words are not exactly correct. People say MMO when they mean RPG and the same goes for the other way around. People tend to not use words correctly, it's only human. Please don't be "that guy" who's too hung up on technicalities to actually have a good debate. Just don't. No one likes that guy. Thanks XOXO

  • I have never seen someone say RPG and mean MMO ever. Like ever.

  • Maybe you didn't understand them. Seriously it's very normal for people who aren't experts to screw up terminology. It's really not a big deal, noting new at all. You just have to learn to deal with it.

  • I did understand him. He said Destiny wasn't an MMO. Which I agree. You say it has enough MMO qualities to be an MMO. MMO and RPG is not to be confused OR interchangeable in anyway at all. They don't even mean the same thing.

  • I know. But that doesn't stop people from switching between the 2 now does it? "Literally" was a word that people used as "figuratively". Now "literally" has a new definition. People simply misuse words. Again Don't get hung up on technicalities.

  • Maybe I should just call the color purple orange from now on. Hell people will eventually catch on and start calling it orange.
