Really? A weapon that deals melee damage requires ammo!? There had better be an exotic version of this sword that regenerates ammo like the Icebreaker, I swear. At the very least allow this weapon to regen ammo from blocking attacks! The heavy ammo in crucible is a crisis to use currently and it would suck to be hit with a shoulder charge while holding this sword, just because I don't have "ammo" to use a SWORD. Ridiculous. Hasn't anyone ever heard of "knife only" anymore? Look at freakin Warframe and their swords! Big Edit: Yes this is a heavy weapon but no this is not Halo. think of all of the times you switched to blade dancer and got killed by a GUN due to the poor balance in this game. Think of what weapon could be potentially be the next OP weapon in this DLC. Think of all the times you NEED AMMO during the sword of crota mission or the crota raid. Think of how the HEAVY AMMO WONT DROP for you if you happen to be more than 8 feet away from the box when a player opens it! All these potential problems and you have a SWORD! It shouldn't be this hard to play with a simple tool. Edit 2. So another person mentioned this. Making assumptions before the dlc releases isn't good. maybe this sword is a halo copy (which would SUCK) or maybe this sword is a legitly cool 2 hit weapon that can be used in place of melee anytime. It'd be great to be able to get back into battle in third person. Either way, Im going to wait and watch youtubers showcase the weapon and the rest of this 40$ dlc before I decide to buy into this. Why even use your real account in that case? Dang. Another Edit: STOP comparing this game to Halo. Same company, but lower standard game. Listen Halo has MLG tournaments for MONEY. Destiny will NEVER have any real competition because the game is so horribly imbalanced. So while you freaks claim you have skill on this game, just remember that even Call of Duty has a tournament, while this trash will never be on the same scale. In order to bring this game to scale with halo, they would have to tear this game apart (again), take away your favorite weapons (again), create a new leveling system (again) and actually PLAY their own game with a passion, like YOU do. Keep that in mind.
