If Atheism made it okay to commit adultery, sodomy, and murder
Would you REALLY want to believe that this planet is filled with a bunch of mentally ill people that like to joke around with such heinous crimes?
Edit: And would you really call yourself an "atheist"?

The misunderstanding is strong in this one. Atheism is a term to describe a single view on deities. Do you believe it exists? Nothing else, no rules, no unity. The same for theists. It is possible to be atheist and religious, many Buddhists and hindu's don't believe in a deity, just a way of life which is their religion, or rules. It is also possible to be a theist, yet not be religious. This person would believe in a deity yet not follow any religions, rather their own 'moral compass'. I know this is a troll post, but there is just to much confusion on religious terminology, I hope this informs at least one person.

Is this supposed to be anti athiest and pro religion. Because it not very clear. If you need religion to hide behind to be a good person and cant make good decisions without it your probably a horrible person at heart. I dont believe in god and i dont believe that -blam!- murder etc should happen.

All this comes natural to humans, its the conditioning through childhood that helps shape the adult. It has nothing to do of lack of religion.

well religion makes it ok to do all those things as long as you ask for forgiveness. atheism relies on peer review to decide weather or not adultery, sodomy, and murder are ok.
