Official: 3000 Grimiore Score is considered "Elite"
Just got an email from Bungie stating 3k Grimiore is "Elite".
What do you think about this news?
Edit 1: I'm just trying to get a read of what the community thinks, please don't take your feelings out on me. It's gross.

I feel like if you're a day one player you could at least have that grimoire score without ghost hunting.

1 ReplySemi elite at 3525 Grimoire. I'm not that great at pvp and I don't have a Lighthouse visit yet. I'll probably try Trials of Osiris after Taken King launches with the new weapon changes.

Most of the Grimoire score comes from grind.

3000 doesn't seem to "elite" to me. I feel elite should be 3500+ or at least 3400+. 3000 is just casually playing the game.

5 RepliesOk nice, apparently I'm an elite destiny player with a massive 3045 grimoire score. Phew glad I decided to collect all those dead ghosts, knew they'd come in handy one day.

Bungie is just trying to recognize those that put a lot of time into the game. If grimoire determined skill then i should be close to Destiny mastery at 3625. Im nowhere near a master at the game. Im pretty good i think but not that good. I just happened to take the time to chase down a lot of the grimoire. Grinding hours to kill 250 hydras and ogres isnt skill. Neither is playing enough crucible to get 5000 kills with each character.

Earned over 3000 because I finally decided to go hunt down all the ghosts and there are a few weapon scores I haven't completed. I guess elite means...fumbling through it? LOL!?!
