Nah for real, have you ever played a game at 60 fps for a week or so, then hopped back on destiny? I've been playing halo all week and I'm getting on to do trials...destiny looks like trash! I never noticed before.

1 ReplyI play this and bf4 which are both meh frame rates so I don't notice...I bet I will once I start playing battlefront

1 Reply> Play Destiny for the first time in 2014 > No 60fps Well that's horrible. It's 2014. > One year later > "Destiny is always evolving" > Hasn't evolved for a smooth frame rate. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Demo even had a patch on the Xbox One to make it 60fps. It still to this day annoys me that they haven't even considered bumping that frame rate.

It's deffinetly noticeable but so is the 720p o 1080p difference.
-
I feel you! Been playing MCC and then went back to destiny and it doesn't feel as smooth.

2 RepliesIdk doesn't really bother me tbh. I just see it as each game has its own skin and style and the fps is part of that. I lump that together. I'm not too big on it tbh just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
But it looks so good

Omg yesterday I was playing the beta jumped back into the crucible, I thought my tv was broken the frames were so bad lol
-
played a bunch of bf4 then came back and it's a big visual gap

1 ReplyDoesn't matter to me, I had preordered the collectors edition of Halo 5 and ended up cancelling it because their blind devotion to 60fps caused them to cut a bunch of other features. It's not all that. Sure it makes a difference but it isn't the only thing. I jumped off for a couple weeks to get through The Old Blood, it's 60FPS and when I came back I noticed no difference.

15 RepliesEdited by ???: 8/21/2015 5:25:45 PMI could give a crap less. I'm primarily a pc gamer with a 144hz monitor, and play with an average of 120 fps. My eyes don't hurt seeing 30 fps, everyone who cries about it is rather idiotic.

1 Replyyeah.. it was such a weak statement.. I love destiny but saying that you can't really notice the difference between 30 and 60 fps is madness

1 ReplyEdited by WAYMAN1194: 8/21/2015 5:04:19 PMI'd honestly much rather have Destiny at 720/60 instead of 1080/30, but that's just my opinion. It would help PvP so much. Most of my shooters are on PC and going from 100+ fps to Destiny's 30 hurts... a lot.

1 ReplyEdited by ARCHER444: 8/21/2015 4:57:08 PMLOL! It's my biggest pet peeve! Try playing at 190-200 fps on BO2 PC for a few hours and then switch to Destiny crucible to 'help' with trials. I swear I thought I was going to destroy my eyesight! lol The frame rate in Destiny is complete garbage- period, but I'm pretty used to it in PvE. However, when coupled with shit net code, server lag, red-bar connections, and f'tard lag switchers/mtu modders- the crucible is complete garbage.

1 ReplyIf they dropped the support for last gen hardware could they fix this?

I think there's a warlock in the bathroom.

1 ReplyEdited by LionO: 8/21/2015 4:50:57 PMLMAO I thought I was the only one. I have been playing Black Ops 3 Beta all day I even maxed out my level in Black Ops 3. The game runs 60 FPS smooth as butter. I went back to playing Destiny to do some public event for packages and some bounties and holy crap it really does feel like crap at 30 FPS. Playing at 60 FPS for awhile will make 30 FPS look and feel like utter shit, it really was unbelievable. I do hope Destiny 2 will be 60 FPS all the way. Frames do matter in FPS games, but not single player games like The Last of Us.
