Everything you said is true, and that is exactly why Deej is great at his job. He is little more than Bungie's mouthpiece, like Varik's servator, with no will of his own. If they hired that other guy, Bungie would have a house divided against itself, and he'd be running business away by making scenes in the middle of the live streams and getting the crowd chanting "we won't buy the taken king! We won't buy the taken king!". Be fun to watch, but then we'd have no game anymore. Besides, I'm sure Bungee does have internal player advocates that tell them all these same things. They probably have plans to fix them all, many of which are probably very quick and simple. But if they gave us a perfect game now, what would they sell us in 3 months? They would literally satisfy their customers so much that they put themselves out of a job.
