With the announcement that nothing can actually be upgraded in year two (you just get the opportunity to buy a year two version of some of your exotics), is there any point buying anything other than Heavy Ammo packs from Xur until TTK launches? Congratulations Bungie, apart from grinding to finish the Moments of Triumph for an emblem, you have made the game completely pointless. Get new armour or weapons, you can't upgrade them for TTK. Earn Vanguard and Crucible Marks, you will take them off us and give us reputation packages (while making us start at 0 for the new marks?). Things we were told were mistakes and would not be repeated are now being paraded as great new innovations to make the game better. Edit - clarified that I meant until launch of TTK. Hopefully he will still sell Exotics (but will need to be all year 2 as selling 1 would not make sense).
