The exotic armor blueprints are an exciting new addition to kick off Year 2 of Destiny, and it seems to work by allowing us to purchase any exotics we've previously acquired. While exotic weapons are identical, exotic armor has different stats consisting of intelligence, discipline, strength, or some combination thereof.
My question is whether or not the armor we acquire from blueprints have random rolls or if they take the roll of the highest stats for a piece of armor that has been acquired previously? I'm guessing it's the former, but I would appreciate clarification.
Some armors I've obtained many times and have pretty good stats for, so I won't want to delete any exotics that I'm satisfied with if I can't purchase it without risking an inferior roll.
Thank you for any clarification you can provide.

Well seeing as how current exotic armor is more likely to have different star roles I'd say yes. I once obtained two Mask of the Third Man's. My current one had more intellect then the othe.
