Have u played any other game like destiny ever. If so please name the ones that recycled old content or made your current gear just as powerful as the new ones.

Destiny is not an mmo. It has mmo aspects but it's not an mmo. If you're gonna make me leave stuff behinds make me leave it all behind. Don't just choose weapons for me

Theirs a reason why games do that. do you honestly think they are going to create another rocket launcher like ghorn. So having old weapons that are better than the new ones or not quite as good will cause people to think "if I already have ghorn what's the point of grinding for another rocket launcher that might be a little bit better

Make all weapons prior to the current year 80% of current max level. Can use them fairly effectively when you want but will need and want to use use top tier gear for most end game activities. Just one idea, have heard others that would be just as good or better. Make it a hard choice, not no choice
