Elite Dangerous, the best space game I've played to date.

Right now its on Game Preview. Free for 1 hr and you can get it a half price for unlimited play time. If you get it now you pay no extra when the game releases next month.
It's been out on PC for a little while but its new to Xbox, and I really want to see the Xbox community on there grow. It's already getting larger but many people still haven't heard of it. My friends and I play it and love it.
1:1 scale milky way galaxy
Fits almost any playstyle
Trading, smuggling, piracy, bounty hunter, explorer, mercenary, asteroid miner, benevolent protector of noobs lol.
Just really fun
It does have a steep learning curve though.
Also if anyone picks it up and wants some advice my gt is: Cheese Helmet.
Do the tutorials first (no they don't explain the controller layout well, but you see it in the pause menu)

1 ReplyIf anybody gets bored with the game, they need to try some power play. The game doesn't do this part of it enough justice. Being able to expand territiories, grow human space, take over and build up small factions, it's awesome. I only just discovered what you can do with it, and it has made the game 5 times better.

10 RepliesBeen playing this since it came on preview and it's probably my favourite game so far, I've done a fair bit and explored different sides of playing. Earlier was possibly the most tense moment I've had, mid fight in a resistance pocket my thrusters got hit pretty bad and shut down, my fsd naturally didn't work either and I was left spinning. After three full system reboots and two failed attempts at getting away I finally escaped on 26% health with one thruster at working condition
