You are mistaken about what bungies community manager is supposed to do. He is required to communicate with the consumers almost like a customer service representative. He has information about the product and can answer your questions about how the product works and future development. The youtube you are referring to (who does make some very excellent points in his videos) would be more of a gamer union representative. He would negotiate for better deals on the communities behalf. In short deej works for bungie to service the community he does not work for the community itself.
