You ARE right on one thing tho, I've never met with a client OR a customer in my life.
I was just a founding partner and CTO with a Master is Computer Science from MIT, who is now just a retired 30 year old!
But have fun working 9-5 and all!

Yes, because you let someone else sell your product. Your success doesn't mean jack shit in this argument. It's about sales technique. And it's great you assume you make more than me. I looked up admeld, you go look up a company called Wells Fargo and then Halliburton. When the client you are sitting across can write a $100M PO on his signature, then you've got a leg to stand on.

Edited by rivodeaux: 8/20/2015 4:34:15 PMWells Fargo? Halliburton? Lmao... I'd love to see what company services these two completely different markets! Edit: is it a floor cleaning company?
-
Nope. It's called working in the Wealth Management Group, formerly Private Client Services and being so good at your job that you get headhunted to work for your client. It's actually fairly common in the business world, but I wouldn't expect a wealthy tech developer like you to understand that.
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ok Mr. business, let me ask you something. Why would Wells Fargo, the 4th largest bank in the US, who hires financial analysts out of Harvard by the dozen, need to outsource wealth management services? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Furthermore, why would Haliburton, one of the largest companies IN THE WORLD, hire a bottom tier wealth management firm such as "Wealth Management Group" with less than half Bn under management? Why wouldn't they hire someone such as say... Wells Fargo? Lmao, you just keep digging yourself deeper and deeper into a hole.

Oh my god what on earth or you talking about? I worked at WF and managed a book of business for wealthy individuals. Not athlete rich, heritage rich. A particular individual within my book took a particular liking to the way I handle business and offered me a position within his company. I accepted the offer since it was a considerable pay increase, and in the last 9 years it has grown sizably, as have the number of people who rely on me. They didn't offer me a job running a drilling rig. Every time you post it makes me lose confidence in your story. I never said I didn't have a degree. And yes I've worked with plenty of Harvard grads. Well, not plenty, two in my department. But the degree and the place you got it from starts to matter less the more experience you get.
Nope. It's called working in the Wealth Management Group, formerly Private Client Services and being so good at your job that you get headhunted to work for your client.
Quoted directly from your comment. I guess you're backtracking now since you realized you looked like a moron.
-
WMG and PCS are departments within Wells Fargo. My god you might be the worst poster I've encountered on the forums.
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Your ignorance is so amusing. It's fun watching you make stuff up!
-
Same ;)
-
So you admit having made stuff up? I see! It's ok to want to be important... Maybe one day you'll ACTUALLY become important and won't have to come to a VIDEO GAME FORUM expecting all other participants to possess business acumen. ...it's far fetched given your lack of maturity , utter arrogant ignorance, OR ANY kind of business expertise, but I guess anything is possible!
-
Oh I was saying I'm making it up as much as you are, but then again I was prepared to believe your story. Whether yours is true or not, doesn't change the fact that the crux of the entire argument has nothing to do with your net worth and everything to do with your experience, which you've admitted you have none. You should believe me though. And you should definitely be smart enough to realize that that what I've been saying all along is correct. Maybe I'm giving you too much credit? I'd like to think not, that's it's just your stubbornness to concede the point that you've clearly lost.
-
Lmao, let me guess, you were kicked out of the debate team? I can't lose an argument that I haven't entered. I haven't even given an opinion on whether or not the presentation was good business or not. The reason I haven't done that is because this is not the form to do it on… My point is your idiocy for expecting others in a, again, VIDEO GAME FORUM, to be able to successfully gauge business decisions. A point that gains validity every time you make a moron out of yourself.
-
Oh. OH! You're a troll! Damn that took me awhile. I mean, since the topic of this thread and my response to it were directed on point, you arguing a different topic means you are actively NOT contributing to the conversation one way or another. If you don't have an opinion based on the Original Post, please remove yourself. I was using my experience to justify my judgment of their presentation skills, you offer nothing beyond personal attacks. I should have seen that from your first post. My mistake. I think I've come to expect too much from the destiny community.
-
Lol, ok Mr. Business. It was almost fun watching you make stuff up. I now have to continue living my life. Have fun trolling the forums!
-
See ya. Oh, don't forget to reply to the other post I made first, about how you somehow didn't get that WMG and PCS were parts of Wells Fargo. Or you could just ignore it in concession.
-
Lol. Concession to what? That you're a moron? Ok, you win! You've successfully proved you're a moron! Also, check your private messages.
-
Confirmed everyone. His dick is bigger. Oh, and we didn't get anywhere with the actual argument.
-
It is! And there was no argument...
-
You accused me of back pedaling. I refuted it. You either misunderstood or just plain didn't know what I was taking about. Either way, your attempt to discredit me failed and you did not respond. Waiting on my PMs...
