80 hours played and not a single Exotic weapon?
I played 80 hours of destiny and RNG gave me 0 exotic weapons.
I got TLW and Gally from Xur and Monte Carlo from my first PoE but RNGesus himself gave me nothing. I know 80 hours isn't much for you guys, who had summerbreak, but for a man with a 40h/week work and a girlfriend that's pretty much of my few spare hours.
Edit: Seems like a lit of people don't understand what i wanna say.

The first poe completion, you get a guaranteed exotic. Which weapon this will be is random but not the drop itself. And thats what i mean. I got no exotix weapon dropped from nf, crota, strikes crucible or poe after the first guaranteed exotic
Edit#2: this is not a competition on who has more hours while having more work or family. Also, stop telling me i should quit playing a game just cuz i'm new and have played 2000 hours less than you. Srsly, wtf
Edit#3: please note that i'm not crying or complaining in any way. I just wanted to tell my current situation and discuss it with others.
I just never played a game that needs so much work to do.

rng doesn't seem to like you. Maybe in the next 80 hours you'll get enough exotics to make up for the first 80.

This is defiantly not a game I would put time into, I have a little over 600 hours and I'm told "that's not that much", really?! I've played Dark Souls 2 and BloodBourne a game with little to no recycling in both games. I've put about 200 in DS II and about 90 or so in BloodBourne, and this game is FULL RNG RECYCLE STYLE. I look at myself and go, I really put 600 hours into this??? I'm ashamed I've bought the two DLC's ( no way in hell im buying TTK ). Bad on BUNGiEVision's part. Shame on them for the corporate cash cow cliché. If anyone wants to argue - LOGIC - - Reskinned Weapons - RNG loot system - Strikes that have bosses with seemingly infinite health - Rewards with no correlation to assurance in levels - Almost all of the story missions are all Horde Mode missions - A Pay Wall of a story all coming in 10 years (lmao) - Decent lore with most of it being just fillers Do I need go on?

Lol, my friend has done nightfall for more than eighty hours each week and hasn't gotten an exotic since the second Phogoth. And he hasn't gotten an exotic from anything else either, except for Xur.

Well, you still have two exotics from Xur, so you are doing fine. Despite what you read, Xur is there for a reason, to give people a chance to get exotics. Anyway, I think I was close to 100 hours or so when I got my first exotic at the end of a strike (Universal Remote). Your experience is not that uncommon.

I think I was at 100 hours before I got my first. (Plan C from Crucible). Back then PoE did not exist and the Weekly did not have matchmaking. So it was a long time before I entered any high end content. (Did VoG before Weeklies or Nightfall).

I've gotten about 2 or 3 exotic armor pieces and a couple of exotic weapons just playing POE, and that's not including the automatic exotic from when I popped my cherry. And if you look at my POE stats, I haven't played it that much.

I got a ridiculous amount of play time in, dont know how mich, but its a whole lot more than 80. Ive had 1 legendary engram turn into an exotic and have had 3 exotics from pvp. Thats it. Everything else came from nightfalls, raids etc: endgame content. Your case is nothing special if you dont play endgame content

You have to raid, do nightfalls etc to get exotics. If you're counting on anything else you're gonna be waiting a long time. I have a couple hundred hours in crucible I bet, never seen an exotic drop.

Raids + night falls gives you the best chance of exotics.
