Deej shouldn't be our community leader
He didn't asked the right questions, and didn't voiced the concerns that have been stated in these forums since October.In the entire stream, he just went along with what the other two puppet masters were saying. He is a NOBODY, he is not a real gamer, he doesn't voices the problems that Bungie don't want to tackle. Therefore, he shouldn't be our leader or voice. Do you know who should be?
BDobbinsFTW should be. I'm sure that guy would ask the questions that ACTUALLY matter. Like, why is the PvP rewards system broken? Why are you selling us obviously cut content for extra money? Why aren't you revamping the original story with more cutcenes or dialogue? Why don't you release updates more often? Why is the servers so laggy?
Being a Bungie fan, it makes me sad to see what this company has become. Began in a room with 4-5 people, focused on fan's satisfaction, now over a 100 but now is over money attraction.
Ok, let me set a couple of things straight.
- I'm not the guy in the video, I don't even have a Youtube channel of my own.
- I'm not new to Destiny, I've played this game in 3 different accounts, one got hacked, and I forgot the E-mail and pass for the other one. I actually had 3 lv 34s and ran Raids, Nightfalls, and ToO every week.
- I've been playing since the Beta
- I respect everyone's opinion, because I believe everybody deserves to be heard.
- If I, and others were to be banned for stating our opinions on a matter, this forum would die under it's own purpuse.
- I love the game, but I strongly believe this was advertised to be a much greater game, than what we were actually given.
- Agree or disagree, I respect and take all your thoughts, but please stop comparing me to a Down Syndrome patient, that is just plain wrong and disrespectful to all those people.
- Keep enjoying the topic, whoever it is you're enjoying it. ;)

So he didn't asked the questions that don't apply to programmers opposed to the management, well yeah what do you expect? The stream is to do with content not about players issues with the game, those are not going to be publicly addressed in a live steam

Anyone who gets paid by Bungie is simply going to be their puppet who shamelessly panders to the community. Doesn't matter if it's Deej, Cozmo or someone else. As long as they're on Bungie's dime, they're useless.

3 RepliesI would have a hard time respecting a community manager who called people who did buy DLC sheep. Also, DeeJ is not our community leader. Neither is Cozmo. They do not represent us to Bungie. They are Community Managers. They are Bungie employees that represent Bungie to us. I don't know if that changes anything for you, but I do think your expectations of what they are here to do are off.

He is required to communicate with the consumers almost like a customer service representative. He has information about the product and can answer your questions about how the product works and future development. The youtube you are referring to (who does make some very excellent points in his videos) would be more of a gamer union representative. He would negotiate for better deals on the communities behalf. In short deej works for bungie to service the community he does not work for the community itself.

11 RepliesThat guy is the reason this community is so toxic. People like him spend hours on the game and even more hours complaining about it in his videos. I don't agree with him at all because the game was actually BETTER in year 1 than it will be in year 2. The majority of the changes coming with year 2 are bad changes. There will be a MASS exodus of players after TTK drops. Sure more people will come back to the game to check out the new content but they will quickly leave once they realize all of their year 1 gear is now useless for year 2 content. People don't like spending hundreds of hours grinding just to have all that work flushed down the toilet. Year 2 is going to be the end of Destiny.

Why didn't he ask questions? Let's see, when is thorn being balanced? Answered. Blink nerf? Answered. 3rd subclass? Answered. Auto rifle buff? Answered. Working on dedicated servers? Answered. Dinklebot sucks! Fixed. Will there be a new raid? Answered. Is my fatebringer(or other gear) continuing on? Answered. Will ps have exclusives? Answered. Will rng improve? Answered. Vault space? Answered. Oh and who was just the face during that event and who was on the computer? Deej talked but cozmo was the one digging the questions out. But you're just an angry little boy who believes the cut content theory... Trials was cut, they admitted it wasn't ready so they scrapped it and redid it. Everything else, you know, the map you could glitch into like valley of kings was just the skeleton of what's to come. They have a vex and cabal xpac planned next that has been leaked. Do you think they started work on ttk after how dropped? If so, you're an idiot. As far as why dlc content is delivered faster? The majority of players still haven't gone flawless or killed skolas. Stop grinding so hard end enjoy the game, if you don't like it, stop buying it. I'm just now bored of how, and have a clan i enjoy playing with keeping my interest and crucible. I have a piece of armor I'm chasing, a Poe chest with auto rifle ammo. So rather than come off stupid which you did if you look above, the big questions needing to be asked have already been answered that you can dig out of the forums.
