Deej shouldn't be our community leader
He didn't asked the right questions, and didn't voiced the concerns that have been stated in these forums since October.In the entire stream, he just went along with what the other two puppet masters were saying. He is a NOBODY, he is not a real gamer, he doesn't voices the problems that Bungie don't want to tackle. Therefore, he shouldn't be our leader or voice. Do you know who should be?
BDobbinsFTW should be. I'm sure that guy would ask the questions that ACTUALLY matter. Like, why is the PvP rewards system broken? Why are you selling us obviously cut content for extra money? Why aren't you revamping the original story with more cutcenes or dialogue? Why don't you release updates more often? Why is the servers so laggy?
Being a Bungie fan, it makes me sad to see what this company has become. Began in a room with 4-5 people, focused on fan's satisfaction, now over a 100 but now is over money attraction.
Ok, let me set a couple of things straight.
- I'm not the guy in the video, I don't even have a Youtube channel of my own.
- I'm not new to Destiny, I've played this game in 3 different accounts, one got hacked, and I forgot the E-mail and pass for the other one. I actually had 3 lv 34s and ran Raids, Nightfalls, and ToO every week.
- I've been playing since the Beta
- I respect everyone's opinion, because I believe everybody deserves to be heard.
- If I, and others were to be banned for stating our opinions on a matter, this forum would die under it's own purpuse.
- I love the game, but I strongly believe this was advertised to be a much greater game, than what we were actually given.
- Agree or disagree, I respect and take all your thoughts, but please stop comparing me to a Down Syndrome patient, that is just plain wrong and disrespectful to all those people.
- Keep enjoying the topic, whoever it is you're enjoying it. ;)

BDobbins brings up a lot of great points. Unfortunately, his douchebaggery makes me not want to listen to him. I sometimes wonder how he breathes with the thin air from that high pedestal he puts himself on. To each their own, but I believe he'd have a lot more followers on his channel if he didn't sound so high and mighty. I do agree on that a CM should know what he/she is talking about. It's like in my professional life. I expect my manager to, well, be good at managing. They don't need to be an expert at what I do. That's my job. However, I do expect my manager to know something when I bring up concerns or suggestions. Deej seems like a good dude, so it pains me to say that.

2 RepliesSomeone who gets it. Deej sucks as our CM. He shows up in the forms once a week. He hardly relates to the players. He has little destiny experience. His responses are misleading. A major game like this needs a qualified CM. A interactive CM. A player first CM.

Are you suggesting BDobbins should be our manager? Surely Deej's role is to be Bungie's mouthpiece, getting information and making it something we all want to hear. If Dobbins was manager and asked those questions, his ass would get fired so fast. Deej's job is to make Destiny appealing, and frankly, being an ass to those that bought the DLC and to the company is not a trait I want in someone who is meant to represent the company.

3 RepliesPEOPLE ARE SO DUMB, deej wasn't their to ask questions, he was their because those two guys aren't public speakers. Having deej their was meant to smooth out the launch of the streams and give people a general idea of what's going to happen. Remember when king gothalion started it off. They were caught off guard by many questions, and that lead to many awkward pauses. This twitch reveal was much better. Also if you knew what you were talking about that would be cozmos job

It feels like with the Taken King we are getting the game that we should have had last year, but for an extra $40/£40. I for one am boycotting this DLC as I utterly hate Activision and refuse to support them. I've always loved Bungie and Halo is my favourite series but they've seriously gone downhill.

There is no shame in being a community manager that doesn't spend 1000 hours playing like some of us lol. His job isn't to play the game it's to share what's going on inside of Bungie and he does a good job of letting us know what the deal is. Yesterday during the stream he just came across as fake and trying to appear like he's a die hard player. He does his job well. Just needs to be himself a bit more in those live streams. Screw what we all have to say, Deej and just be the casual fan that you are. Not a damn thing wrong with it sir! 7/10 for Mr. Deej

1 ReplyQuit hating on deej, he does a great job. He has to make a ton of people happy, and that's hella stressful, so if he forgets to ask a few questions let it slide! If he wasn't doing his job right he would have been fired. That fact that you have enough time to get 9 max characters in total and run everything mean you have no responsibilities which would explain why you don't appreciate him. One day you will get to highschool and have to do presentations and etc. And realize how hard it is to talk knowing people are watching you and judging you. Just a lesson kid, you should never judge someone unless you've walked a mile in their shoes, so go enjoy your cartoon network and shit while you can

He's being paid to do a job. It would be cool for him to speak up and ask some hard questions but that would be it and they would fire him and replace him with some other stiff and the same shit would happen.

Deej is a spokesperson, he reveals what he is allowed to reveal. Dude absorbs a huge amount of abuse for doing his job, Bungie cuts his paycheck - not you and he has to meet the expectations of his employer. They already fixed the PvP reward system and Deej can't make the servers less laggy. And the cut content, seriously - can one of you mouthbreathing conspiracy jackasses make it through a paragraph without digging up that fossil.

I thought he was a waste like deej but I was wrong. Deej did not ask the hard questions. For example why is it that we went from having 600 vanguard and crucible marks 1200 total with 3 characters to only 200 legendary marks for all 3 characters. From the live stream. Deej is weak. He got bullied by the producers but Cozmo stepped up to them and said 'just answer the questions'.
