Deej shouldn't be our community leader
He didn't asked the right questions, and didn't voiced the concerns that have been stated in these forums since October.In the entire stream, he just went along with what the other two puppet masters were saying. He is a NOBODY, he is not a real gamer, he doesn't voices the problems that Bungie don't want to tackle. Therefore, he shouldn't be our leader or voice. Do you know who should be?
BDobbinsFTW should be. I'm sure that guy would ask the questions that ACTUALLY matter. Like, why is the PvP rewards system broken? Why are you selling us obviously cut content for extra money? Why aren't you revamping the original story with more cutcenes or dialogue? Why don't you release updates more often? Why is the servers so laggy?
Being a Bungie fan, it makes me sad to see what this company has become. Began in a room with 4-5 people, focused on fan's satisfaction, now over a 100 but now is over money attraction.
Ok, let me set a couple of things straight.
- I'm not the guy in the video, I don't even have a Youtube channel of my own.
- I'm not new to Destiny, I've played this game in 3 different accounts, one got hacked, and I forgot the E-mail and pass for the other one. I actually had 3 lv 34s and ran Raids, Nightfalls, and ToO every week.
- I've been playing since the Beta
- I respect everyone's opinion, because I believe everybody deserves to be heard.
- If I, and others were to be banned for stating our opinions on a matter, this forum would die under it's own purpuse.
- I love the game, but I strongly believe this was advertised to be a much greater game, than what we were actually given.
- Agree or disagree, I respect and take all your thoughts, but please stop comparing me to a Down Syndrome patient, that is just plain wrong and disrespectful to all those people.
- Keep enjoying the topic, whoever it is you're enjoying it. ;)

4 RepliesThis video is amazing but what you said with it was terrible. Deej doesn't determine any of that stuff, he just just gets paid to be the face of the workers at bungie. What you should have made this post about is activision and bungie as a whole for screwing over people since day one, releasing an incomplete game that they gave false advertisement of an immersive story on, and cutting parts out of there game that have been there since the beta. One major example of this is the multiple areas that were in the game that they barred off so they resell what was already there, from the beta, when people glitched into the Kings area near the rocket yard, every enemy that is in their now that we just paid $20 to get to, was there in the beta.

Umm, deej wasn't the one orchestrating the questions. That was up to the community, also they were showing certain things so his questions only pertained to those certain things.

I think you misinterpret his job description. Making you happy is not in it. I respect your concerns and opinions. I agree, that stream didn't go how I wanted either, but that and many other things deej takes shit for are not his fault. He does what he's told cuz it's his job. If you don't get that, you have never had a job before. If my boss asked me to do something, I do it regardless of what a bunch of fans think. There is no moral obligation for him to do what we want him to either. He is just the one that relays info back and forth from the company to the forums. Give dude a break, I'm sure he's a nice guy. If he did what you're implying he should, he'd get fired really fast.

See he probably does ask those things but just isn't able to write about the answers he gets. He doesn't have to be a serious gamer for his job. He even stated he is a casual and he knows he isn't that best at anything, but that is what cozmo is for. Cozmo is the more serious gamer for the community team.

Do you pay DeeJs salary? No? Who does? Bungie? Huh, that's crazy that he asked the questions Bungie wanted asked.... His job is to voice our concerns and return their answers. If they give no answers what is he supposed to do? I'm not defending Bungie and Activision here, just a guy who got hired to do a thankless job for a bunch of entitled folks.
