What is the best pve shotgun?
I would like an official answer: what is the best pve shotgun? People seem to be all over the map with this one but I feel like there is no true answer. Can someone prove me wrong?

For me it's a tossup between Invective and Fourth Horseman. I personally prefer Invective for the self-regenerating ammo.

Invective or Found Verdict for non-exotic. The regenerating ammo on invective is purely beautiful especially for PoE.

4th horseman. Found verdict in second. Found verdict is probably the better choice because it doesn't take up an exotic slot.

I always use Found Verdict, can't go wrong with it !

I have found my unascended 300 damage Comedian (void) with spray and play, field scout, and rangefinder to be as good as any of the regular 331 damage shotguns. Sure is nice having 7 shells loaded. Never had Found Verdic or Lord of Wolves though.

It can drill down major enemies in a second or be fanned to cut down entire crowds of little guys in an instant. It has the highest rate of fire, magazine count, and reload speed of any shotgun in the game. So it hits like a freight train, from further away than 99 percent of other shotguns. It is versatile and can be effectively and efficiently used against a wide variety of enemies. Plus its exotic ability encourages teamwork and is most effective in PVE.

3 RepliesI think in pve, there are so many that are so close the differences are negligible. I think as long as it has shot package or rangefinder, your good. One with good rof is cool because in pve you have more swarms than in pvp. Also a larger mag size. I do good with matador, party, or felwinters. I chose it based on element. My felwinters, for example, is arc so I use it for fallen.
